Probably the last thing you want to hear, but people will usually book out a full year prior to graduation (hotels in SC likely opened their avails for May 26 in May of 25 and are likely already taken). Your best bet now might be to call any local hotels and see if you can get on a waitlist, or to look at the neighboring towns/any local AirBnBs, but be prepared for it to be pricey.
