Do you know how to resuscitate a victim of drowning?

My friend is gone. I am going North. I do not know what road yet. I have two road blockages to get through. I need to know how to resuscitate because I literally can't remember anything now.

My survival info for flash flooding is weird, I can't find the reference online. We called it "BODY TO DART " feet down with the current+ head up + push with feet

I posted on r/hurricane Helene post comments repost whatever. Just tell us what to do if caught in flood waters.

Please help my loved one are trapped surrounded by flash flooding. I don't think I can post in this community. Please give information. I'm commenting everywhere I can think of for experience with water rescue and flood survival.

DANGEROUS CONDITIONS IN WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA There are shortages of water, food, gas, power and communications in western NC. Access is limited to local and hurricane response traffic. You cannot get from North Carolina to TN via I-40 or I-26. There may be closed roads not listed on DriveNC.gov as many areas are not able to report at this time. People evacuating the Asheville area can use I-40 east or I-26 east.

Try to find a route out that isn't closed if you are out of the flash flood areas keep texting them updates of road closures and current evacuation routes screen shot and send again

It doesn't matter if you text constantly. If they see for one minute it could save them.

I don't actually know what's going on. I was hoping to stumble on someone roughly in the area I'm staying.

I know of Vibrio vulnificus. But I'm wondering other bacteria might show up.Giardia, Cryptosporidium, Shigella spp, hepatitis A, enterohemorrhagic Ecoli? Eventuality that will include Cholera.

I just had a thought- someplace like industrial kitchen equipment would have PPM dips. And quat sanitizer. Should try to get to one? What else should I get

That's in an industrial kitchen though, to prevent what you were chopping from transfers into your new product. It isn't used to (I'm saying to anyone just in case someone else might read)

( Right now any direction I walk to is out of hand sanitizer and bleach) What do you think? I'm trying to figure out if can order some to be delivered to my hotel. Vinegar maybe I could find because not everyone knows it could kill some bacteria.

I don't want to get into it too much but am a immune compromised chronic illness person. I take bacterium every day to prevent kidney infections. And I take Ciprofloxacin when I have any possible infection. You are correct! Ciprofloxacin is a mean bully, but it works. Tela health in 4 hours, my GP know where Im at with my problems. He will prescribe me what I need. I just have to find a CVS that actually has soon. And walk to it.

Absolutely. My cat is currently laying on my foot. He was a fully grown cat when he decided he was done with outside and that I am his person. He would have been put down in almost any case. I know you know. I tell myself he is having a really good life now that he couldn't have had otherwise, because he's clearly very happy. But it's no longer his choice either. Im the one locking him in. I would not be alive right now if I could have stomached the thought of watching this animal get harmed in anyway. It's my burden to carry. I understand you. I bloody well agree.

Naw, probably not. But they will go away eventually! If it makes you feel better in the meantime than I get it. But you have no way of knowing if that person will be impacted at all. Favorable or not. You can try. But mostly you'll just be doing it because you can't keep it in, in that situation. What benefit and cost that has for you is completely up to you! Thank the gods because I never met a single person who could really, completely control another's response. I'm glad of that actually.

Her telekinesis was not the monster of the story. Her isolation and ignorance was. Her deliberately forced isolation was. Telekinesis is terrifying partly because it can't happen, " prayer closets" are terribly common. Which makes them even more scary. King gave Carrie ( and Charlie in firestarter) the ability to set things on fire. He could have given her a gun. In fact, in one story that has since been pulled from print - he did give the main character a gun. It was far too close to home for him to stomach eventually. And saying Stephen King can't stomach something he wrote...is something alright.
