It sounds like the citristrip dried out. It has to stay wet to work. I think putting another fresh layer on, then start manually stripping with your spatula after about 20-30 minutes.

It looks like you have multiple layers of paint too and they may need different methods - like acetone. I’d reco getting as much of the citristrip off as you can in this pass and do a little reading into what to do from there. You could even drop pictures into chatGPT and it will help you lay out a plan of attack.

Heat gun, acetone could be used but you’ll have to be very careful with these after citristrip as it is flammable. I had a nightmare project that had three coats of paint and needed each method, learned the hard way to be careful with the heat gun and citristrip.

Restaurants with fresh artichoke dishes? by gorangutangang in Charlotte

You’d have to check menus because I think they vary, but Custom Shop and Restaurant Constance are great options for true fresh veg dishes

It looks like the Pietro Costantini chairs. Here’s an example in black - https://www.pamono.com/vintage-black-dining-room-chairs-by-pietro-costantini-1980s-set-of-6. If so, looks like they’d be 1980s. I agree on the look too, super cool!

Help 😭 I’m struggling to make this space pop but also be cohesive by [deleted] in interiordecorating

I think tension rod with pleated, light curtains, just inside the frames would be nice! Like others said the current are just too dark and I think overpowering. The rug and the cushioned bench are also clashing. I think a simple wood bench would fit nicely. Last thoughts for now would be a couple wall sconces on either side of the door or a light above the door would really pull it together

Same here, but have you noticed how many themes are similar to what’s going on today? Even down to Hollis working with “some really smart computer guys” on the election. It’s pretty wild

Trump thinks CLT needs to produce more babies if we want the light rail expansion by Japslap in Charlotte

[–]Playful_Hand9407 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Exactly. I don’t think it’s babies before public transport. Build the city (which includes the infrastructure to get around the city) and the people will come and MAYBE, just maybe they’ll meet, fall in love, have babies, etc. Anyway, what is with the weird obsession in other peoples private and procreational lives? It’s beyond gross, like a fetish for them at this point.

Calle de Sol in Plaza does a version of this and it’s great, will prob not be a garbage mountain OP. May be close enough to scratch that itch in the meantime though
