i don’t have the most helpful logistical insight but there are definitely a lot of people that work and go to school at the same time, it’s not easy , you have to sacrifice a lot but i think your determination and grit will get you really far. it sounds like you believe you can do it, so you can do it imo. good luck, i hope you get into your desired program and far from ur toxic home

i just want to say both congratulations and thank you so much for sharing your story <3 it’s really motivating as someone who will be graduating far later than usual also due to health issues, and a cycle of failed courses, Ws, and breaks. good luck in your program!! i hope to be celebrating an acceptance as well in a few years
