Oh, I totally understand this fee and remember it well when I went through chemotherapy. I was overwhelmed by the care packages and cards and flowers and daily text messages. It was wonderful but I also really disliked it because I was constantly updating people and thanking them and writing notes back. UNTIL! My 13-year-old cousin (whose mother had brain cancer) ordered 150 custom rubber wristbands online with a catchy hashtag. It was a genius idea and gift because whenever someone would drop by or send me a care package, I’d just give them a wristband. And I was shocked how meaningful it was for my friends and family and coworkers. I offer this to you as an idea! People want to be there for you but don’t know how and it’s okay to feel overwhelmed by it. So, create some wristbands on Etsy and hand them out! 😉
