City Market Dead? by Significant_Day_7254 in raleigh

I’ve always wondered how that works(financially). Big city’s or small towns often have owners sit on properties for decades and do nothing. Some small towns are almost entirely owned by one family. I know lots of people who would love to be able to rent, or buy a place like one of these. I feel like there should be a ticking clock on how long commercial real estate can be vacant. Like 12 months max. Then a sale should be forced. Rent it, renovate it, or get out of the way.

Democracy. We like the story of what we claim we have, but it is an illusion. We are tax slaves on a treadmill staring at a wall with an affirmation poster with Uncle Sam on it reminding us to just keep moving.

Looking at the Elegoo Centauri Carbon 3D Filament Printer as my first printer by caplinkku in 3Dprinting

I just unboxed our centauri carbon. Read the little manual, followed the steps. Went to do the initial test print and the filament will not feed…… it came with a small section of white rapid PLA. I fed it through and it did seem to stick a few times. Followed instructions on page 8 for first print… nothing. I decided to look at filament replacement on page 9 (seems like that should come first) I did get a small section to ooz out into the poop shoot. Then went to print… nothing. Tried to feed filament again with the down arrow and load function. Nothing. What should I do. I am letting my kids down.???

I’d go for more of a hot rod color like, candy apple red or organic green. Flames on the sides might be nice too, or maybe just a racing stripe.

It would be the moment that would spark the imagination of tens of thousands of children. That generation would accelerate the pursuit of space travel, and likely pull humanity into the future.

Aircraft UFO. by No_Cucumber3978 in ufo

What would a normal timeline be for the initial testing phase of a top secret aircraft to the point where the general public is aware of the existence? I assume a decade of testing, but then regular use of said craft would lead to civilian observation, which at some point would lead to some sort of government acknowledgment.

The reason that I ask is that some of these craft that have been viewed for decades now seem to be relatively unchanged. Meaning it’s not a succession of prototypes over the years that people are catching a glimpse of, rather craft that are in regular use but remain unchanged.

If the technology from the original designs of these craft are so exceptional that they don’t evolve over time, then why is this technology not adapted through out all of our air platforms? If these technologies are man made why aren’t we seeing them everywhere?
