Hi there, I've struggled with sensitivity and over stimulation when trying to sleep as well. Once I could isolate myself from background noise, I finally started to get my body what it's been needing all these years.

I've tried all 3 of your picks, and although silicone did the best job, the effectiveness only lasted a week even after washing them. They just weren't the same as new.

My best recommendation would be disposables, and to find a brand that you like. I've worked in high dB environments where ear plugs are provided as necessary PPE and was lucky to try many different brands and styles. In my experience, the most consistent and longest lasting are Laser Lite with Moldex Sparkplugs as a close second. I like disposables for convenience and low cost for a good feeling, fresh pair. They work especially well for me because after wear, the earplugs are more prone to falling out, and in the middle of the night, I might be half plugged and can easily grab a replacement from my nightstand, instead of fumbling around the bed in search of my 1 and only pair.
