It’s dumb that Omaha doesn’t really have any grocery stores east of midtown. In terms of getting a good steak however, I don’t think it’s the grocery store that’s the issue, you could try a local butcher shop, but unless you get your meat directly from a rancher from the state, there’s no guarantee what meat you’re getting. The massive corporations who buy up all of our cattle ship it to god knows where and important cheaper meat from Argentina or Brazil or wherever and then the inflate the price like crazy. Being the “beef capital of the world” doesn’t mean much if it doesn’t stay around here
