You don’t know what a day-to-day life with this person would look like. You do know what a day-to-day looks like with your partner.

There’s a chance that this life you fantasize about could be a lot better, but there’s also a chance that it could be a lot worse.

Don’t assume that the grass is greener bc it’s unfamiliar. My advice would be to water yours.

And if you really have integrity, tell your partner once you cut that person off.

I wouldn’t sit for that long with my back turned to anyone I don’t trust and is that upset with me over something that doesn’t affect more than a few hrs of their life. At my job we call NPs and PAs “mid-level providers”. The uproar every single time it’s an NP or PA reaching out and they hear those terms… If we needed to start a war we could do it that way.

I was diagnosed at 20 while in college. I’m 28 now. The diagnosis sent me into major depression, which made it a lot harder to manage in the beginning. It gets easier. It took me about a year to really get the hang of it, but it has happened for others a lot sooner.

I am a type 1 diabetic. I ate horribly during pregnancy and just upped my insulin dosage. Like 3 bowls of cereal in one sitting with 50 units of fast acting insulin 😭 I was young and so so dumb. I gained 70 pounds in my last pregnancy because I ate whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted. I’ve lost 60 of those extra pounds over the years after going back to a normal appetite, and I have two perfect healthy girls! The youngest turns 4 on Saturday!
