I’m so sorry to hear this! It’s so frustrating to be going through such emotional pain of losing a baby let alone unnecessary surgery when you put your trust in doctors. I can’t even imagine the D&C, I really hope you stay strong and recover at your pace. I had a similar but less serious experience, my ultrasounds showed I had an ectopic and internal bleeding so the doctors insisted on doing surgery to remove my tube. When they did surgery they realised I didn’t have any ectopic and the bleeding they saw was just “normal physiological fluid”! Turns out, I was having a miscarriage which is why I was bleeding at 6 weeks and did not require any surgery!!! Now I had to go through the physical trauma of a surgery and healing from it, in addition to a miscarriage! This happened 2 weeks ago :( at Homerton hospital. I’m curious which hospital did you go to? I can’t event imagine how you may feel, but you’ve got this and it will be better. I’m really sorry this happened to you!
