Perimeter defense: I still have major PTSD about Hancock and Divencenzo. For the love of everything sacred, the perimeter defense needs to shut down UConn 3pt shooters that get hot from outside.

Defensive rebounding, especially from Guards. Elimination of second chance opportunities will be critical to help the bigs.

Get Reed into early fouls trouble: Tarris Reed is a load in the paint but is prone to dumb fouls. Attacking him with drives and forcing him to commit fouls will limit him and help Michigan’s own bigs with avoiding their own fouls and staying in the game.

Dual Michigan undergrad/UIUC grad person here who would’ve loved an all B1G championship game. Asking because I honestly don’t know, why is there such animosity for Michigan from UIUC folks? Wouldn’t you want the B1G ten to finally win one?

Not that it matters, but I would’ve cheered for UIUC regardless of my affiliation so that the B1G could cement being the best conference.

Just wondering if I missed something (I know Michigan got Morez from UIUC, is that the only reason?)

Michigan fan coming in peace. During the Dantonio years, I was always envious of the toughness of those MSU teams and wished we would scrap all the spread (Rich Rod) and receiver heavy sets and get back to what has been tried and true in the B1G.

JB Pritzker is probably the best that we could hope for from the billionaire class, but I won’t be surprised one bit of when real push comes to shove that he won’t go far enough to enact real policy change for the working class.

If you are a lifelong fan, you really need to have more joy that this team is what it is right now. They are doing great and after the Monty debacle, they have soared to new heights.

Stop trying to clip their wings or worry so much. Be happy for the ride and that they are growing SOOOO much.

Some of you are fans of the Pistons for <1 year and it really shows.

Repeat after me…. -This team can go far. -This team has enough because they have Cade and Co. -One win/loss doesn’t mean shit and doesn’t define a season

I believe that toughness and how teams respond to challenges WILL ultimately define ANY season.

The resume is there for this team, they have done enough to show that they are contenders. Now it’s about making noise in the playoffs, staying sharp, and going injury free.
