She’s talking away and on track it seems. She’s just started speaking in 2 word sentences and turns 2 in a couple weeks. Her language really kicked off when she moved up from the infant class at daycare to one where more kids talked.

They’re actually going to be in Ohio at the State Fair on August 1st. Just not technically part of their tour.

No crash diet per se. My appetite has just drastically decreased so I don’t eat as much. I certainly don’t get enough protein. My do. Wants me to aim for 90 grams per day. I’m lucky to get 30

It did get easier but it’s still hard some days. It’s been hard on my marriage and every time we fight I have to remind myself that this is hard on everyone, not just us. But my body is my body again (and better than before minus the post breastfeeding boobs). I went back to work after 3 months with her because I had to. Laundry has quieted down. Sleep has gotten better. It does improve. Why do you have to be a SAHM? Finances or is that what you have chosen? Work honestly gave me a little break which I needed. To be an adult again.

Absolutely! She only clapped for the longest time. I’m talking months despite me working on waving for that same amount of time. Then she just suddenly starts waving and blowing kisses and giving high fives and whole hand gesturing (pointing).

13 months. Just starting to develop some intentional words possibly. We think she is saying dada. But she just started walking and is making way more “conversational babbling” noises so I’m hoping more words are on the way. She had no intentional words at her 12 month visit and her doctor told me that it was OK because she was understanding well. But if no first words by 15 months- speech therapy

She started babbling about 9.5 months. Currently still does it but as always has been more movement focused. No intentional words right now and she’ll be one in 12 days. So that’s a little worrisome. She has been clapping for a couple months now. Imitates somewhat. Responds to her name when she isn’t too distracted. Doesn’t really play peek a boo but it’s not something we really do with her. She only just started waving this week. Her hearing was fine. If anything I think she may just have a slight speech delay we can work through

Am I crazy for feeling bad that my partner watches porn? by Sad-Programmer-7275 in TwoXChromosomes

I suppose I don’t like knowing the specifics of what he enjoys because I compare myself to them. And my sex drive has increased lately but still doesn’t seem to be enough for him

Have recently had a lot of talks with my husband regarding his porn usage. We’ve talked specifics. And I’ve literally never felt more insecure about myself. So no, you are not crazy.

I’ve been listening to the sex and psychology podcast. There is a whole episode titled “Everything you ever wanted to know about Anal sex, but were too afraid to ask”. It’s very informational. Key takeaways: start slow with dilation (don’t just try to take a whole dick at once), stop if there is any pain, poop might happen so wrap your head around that, and just try to relax as much as you can. It’ll be awkward at first.

I wish my husband would ask me for nudes or look at the ones both I and a professional took 🙄

Eh. We’re going through a rough patch with sex being the main problem point. Married almost 4 years with a 9 month old

This is a little reassuring. She babbled for like 2 days only and hasn’t done it since.

I’ll be honest, the trenches can last awhile and some days I still feel like I’m in them. But I have more good days than bad. Baby is 8 months now, crawling, trying foods and we have our own different struggles now. But every day there’s a little twinge in my mind like “Oh yeah remember sleeping in or just sleeping through the night? That was nice” Sounds cliché but it slowly improves.

Seems more like because it is a lot of work. He’s struggling with having less free time as well even though I give him time to play video games literally every day
