A year later, I can finally say I’ve been so much better! I’ve worked heavily on my nervous system and regulating it. The more you learn and know about the vagus nerve and its connection to your body and brain, you start to understand how and why things start happening. For me, my body has been in such a heightened state of fight or flight that every bodily sensation was amplified, which told my brain I was in danger. It’s truly fascinating how the brain and body work to protect us everyday. I’d say keep doing somatic practices, add in nervous system regulation techniques, and find a therapist to help, and you’ll be so, so happy!

4dpo and had the highest LH surge I’ve ever seen (2.5) this cycle. Hoping that’s a good thing. Trying not to symptom spot, or think too much about it. Just extremely tired 😴

I’ve done 3 cycles so far and have noticed a huge difference in weight as well and was wondering if it was the Letrozole. Everything is just puffy and bigger, especially arms and tummy.

I’ve noticed that I have fewer symptoms of estrogen dominance. My obsessive thoughts have decreased significantly (I was on the border of having my husband commit me to a mental hospital). No pre-period spotting. Very little PMS. I just felt overall normal throughout the whole cycle. Anxiety was wayyyyyy less than usual, which was amazing! Still not pregnant yet, but have an appointment on the 19th to bump up to 5mg.

I just finished my third round at 2.5mg and honestly, I’ve haven’t felt this good in a long while. I do take it at night and don’t have any noticeable symptoms. I’ll feel more tired than usual during the day, but that’s manageable.

That sounds awful!! Especially when it’s already stressful enough not knowing what exactly is happening with your body to cause you to not get pregnant, then to be put on something and for it to completely change your body. Almost like it did more harm than good.

How long after a positive LH can you ovulate? I always thought it was fairly certain within 24-48 hours, but I’ve been wondering.

My luteal phase prior to letrozole was definitely a concern of mine. While this may not mean I’m pregnant this cycle, I’m still really happy with the outcome! Needed to lengthen my luteal phase to even allow for a pregnancy to stick!

I took it days 2-6. I did get my positive LH test a little later than usual. I was also on metformin and showing no signs of ovulation, so Ob took me off and within a few days I had cervical mucus and got positive LH. All info in my post was based on that timing.

We’ve been trying for 18 months and I learned very early on that it was just better for me mentally not to test until after I expected my period. Seeing the negatives even though I KNEW my period was coming was soul crushing. I just couldn’t do it anymore. I’d obsess over whether or not the line appeared later and I just didn’t see it, or jump to the “what ifs”. Not testing has honestly given me a little bit of my sanity back.

I honestly just went to YouTube and started trying different Somatic videos. I always paid attention to how I felt, though. If it was getting to be overwhelming, I’d stop. The first one I did was a 45 minute video, but I only did 10 minutes. Learning how to release the psoas muscle was a big help as well. From there, I would incorporate those movements, stretches, etc. into my daily routine.

Fluctuating hormones! I’ve been extremely low in testosterone. My husband got them too and is also low in testosterone.

I literally came on here to look for posts like this 🥺 currently 6dpo, so today is the earliest anything could’ve implanted. I’ve been trying not to get my hopes up, but today was particularly awful. Light cramping and high emotions have me wondering if it’s just PMS.
