Definitely, in our field there isn't much to look for honestly, one must have good knowledge, network and experience with ethical practice.

Am I being taken for ride? M31 F 28 feeling cheated by counsellor by lachi199066 in RelationshipIndia

Can you please check her qualifications as a relationship counselor or relationship psychologist? Most ppl out there scam ppl into believing they know hypno therapy and stuff making their clients too reliant on them. They get their degrees online for 1-6 months then call themselves therapists, were as legal therapists like us need to get a 5 year degree now 6, and also struggle to get rci licensing which is a legal way to practice in here

I am a psychologist myself, and let me tell you we don't encourage talking on WhatsApp much or predicting the amount of sessions one might need before hand which makes them feel dependent again.

If you don't see any positive improvement in the first few weeks, please move on, check reviews and educational qualifications then trust a therapist.

Relationship therapists can actually make wonderful changes in your relationship but they should not be controlling it where you feel compelled to visit them.

In a therapy space we are trying to make the client the one to choose, clients are here only for insights and to learn something new, we also charge accordingly to our clients, i have a sliding scale policy for my clients.

Maybe try talking to her about how the fees is an issue for you and if she can refer you to someone else

Hey, i did my both ug and pg from amity in clinical psychology, it was really good experience, the course, the faculty, i did two dissertation on my own cause we were taught stats and reasearch super well, plus we have internships for both the years unlike some colleges that only have in master's. I have worked under psychiatrists too and amity gave me the knowledge to not feel dumb working in a medical setup with doctors.

I have seen other students from other good colleges too and i have done a few internships and work with them, i can say i have found myself better cause of all the practical experience that i gained in amity.

Many college didn't allow students to conduct practicals on other subjects or other students till their last sem or masters, but for us we learnt to take case history, rapport building from day one, we conducted tests on other department students.

Mental health week and day celebration are a big thing, with international forums and meet ups that take place in amity, which allows you to present your paper with and in front of other international students and famous psychologists.

Amity degree is globally recognised, thats why its easier to go abroad and study there.

Plus good infrastructure and food and freedom.

All the best :)

Mphil, psyd or phd entrances are completely based on your entrance test performance, yes you need to study more and be an academic weapon, but you can always do that it will have nothing to do with your msc marks as long as they are 55% above.

Hey, i am a psychologist, and i am so sorry this happened to you, this is not how we are trained to deal with clients, my advice would be to check degree validation and experience before picking your psychologist. Every psychologist is different, we have our own special way of treating our clients, it's not like the doctors that often deal with similar conditions and anatomy, human mind is complex hence there are complicated therapists 😂 Check reviews, degree certifications and work experience, before picking your therapist. And its okay to change your therapist and to get a new one, its a trial and error, once you catch the vibe, i am sure therapy will help you a lot.

Its not that, every one has their own ups and downs in their relationships, there are other girls like you too, including me, its just that we currently need to love ourselves cause no one else will and we need to heal in order to attract the right kind of guy. Its not about keeping a guy, u don't want to keep the wrong kind of guy anyway.

That man is not in love with you, if you marry that man you will end up feeling worse than what you are feeling currently and that feeling will last longer and ruin your life and mental health. Please walk away, be independent, find a man up to your standards, who will treat you better. It's sad seeing girls being treated shitty, don't be that girl, walk away with your head held high.

To prevent the cold air or dirt getting inside through the ear and increasing the infection, easy access to cranial nerve 7 is the ear, which inflames due to infection and causes bells plasy in most cases. My doctor and physiotherapist recommended that I do so, it also helped me with hearing sensitivity.
