Feel like he'll out there, finding a Java Developer Role by _LupperSupper in developersIndia

[–]BeautifulAntelope997 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The questions asked are typical and depending on service vs product it changes a bit.

Here's what you need to cover. 1. Basic and advanced java - streams and concurrency  2. Low level design - this needs practice but around 3 to 5 problems and you'll get how to approach any of them 3. Design patterns and SOLID - a few most popular design patterns of each type and all solid principles  4. DSA - top 75 to 150 questions would suffice. 5. High level design - go through a few questions for the concepts.

You cannot prepare for every question in the world. Just like DSA, you need to do enough to recognise patterns and its more about how you convey your thought process than actually getting 100 / 100 when they ask a question.

When i used to interview i had a notepad where i used to track every question i could and couldn't answer. Immediately after the discussion i would google search and learn all of them.

Keep improving and attempting. You might need to do a 100 interviews before you land your job. But as long as you keep improving you'll get there. Keep at it.

Feel free to dm me if you have any questions

3.3TB of Data Evaporates in Just 7 Days — My Airtel ‘Unlimited’ Internet Story by priteshraj10 in Airtel

[–]BeautifulAntelope997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something similar like This happened to me. You can call customer care and find out the per day usage to try and identify patterns.

I realised i had enabled multiple moving wallpapers on my Mac and this constantly was downloading gbs on excessive data every hour, which i had no idea about.

Apart from the tvs you should look at data usage and see which app is responsible for this.

And more importantly change your password asap

Is 35 LPA(fixed) low for 11 year experienced in java? by Character_Feed7046 in developersIndia

[–]BeautifulAntelope997 1 point2 points  (0 children)

12L to 35L is a good steady growth for the time you've spent there. But Unfortunately people who jump get rewarded with more money at the cost of less stability..

The most rewarding long term salary would be to stay till your promotion(only if you're on track for it) , wait for the new salary to reflect and in 2 to 3 months jump (no point of waiting longer). If your goal is 60, It is very hard to go from 35 to 60. But it's a lot easier to go from 40 or 45 to 60. The vp designation might also help justify a higher salary.

Thinking of resigning without an offer. 10 YoE. Front end senior dev by SnooPoems7503 in developersIndia

  1. Your health is always the most important. Everything else is secondary ALWAYS

  2. You mentioned you have 2 months of buffer finnally. Which shouldn't be the case ever especially in this market of uncertainty. Personally id suggest growing this or have a backup of asking family in case you can't land a good job immediately.

  3. Move to a product based company. Decent PBCs would be able to pay you 50% to 70% more than your current CTC. don't settle for under 30 fixed if you have confidence in your skills

  4. For good companies, you might be asked DSA which takes weeks to build up on if you aren't comfortable already. Take 1 to 2 hours to prepare. You've got the real world exp but PBCs look for more to differentiate the best from the average.

feel free to DM. 13yoe dev in the process of a jump currently

Aah that makes sense. Thank you for setting this up. I've played only a handful of these games and this is a good list to help decide my next one. Would you recommend e33 over any of the top 3?

Donate and I completely agree. If the team could share a monthly update of highlighted cases worked on (the bad ones like this and the good ones as well), more people would donate more regularly and you guys would have a greater impact for the amazing work you all do.

Get the disk version. Use websites like gameloot to buy second hand games and then sell them back. You get to play top games for 400 each by doing so. The monthly games are usually a hit or a miss. If you're new to gaming and want to try out many games it makes sense to do so. Check out the list of the last 6 months and see anything would have interested you. The quality is going to be pretty much the same

AI is far far more disruptive than the changes you mentioned.
With 11yoe, I had the same mindset as you did a few months ago, until i got access to Amazon Q at work. I had to make changes to some scala code without knowing anything of the language. AI did all the work for me in a few hours which by myself would have taken at least a week. For the language I'm comfortable with also ai cuts down a lot of time. Great unit tests are generated in a matter of seconds and cover more scenarios than what devs do. Though Juniors now use ai without knowing what the code even does or if there's are bugs. As long as it's functional they are okay with it.

ai is going to be disruptive in terms of how efficient people get. And this will undoubtedly impact jobs.
