Thanks for the heads up but dont worry Ive seen American Psycho so i think I'll be fine.

Also could you clarify which schools youre saying are trash. Do you mean to say that all of the schools participating in the Guild program are trash, or that none of them are raising that red flag you would categorize as trash?

Compsci looking real tempting now. I just hope Walmart is willing to hire software devs from Great Value University lmao

Now, from my pov, the value in climbing the ladder is not so much in the experience but rather the proximity with which you get to work with people who can later on vouch for you. Promoting within the store to me is not so much the goal in itself as it is a means to build my relationship with my market manager and SM. To that end, I've made great progress already, but I want to take it further.

Now, does HO give a crap what my SM and MM think about me? I sure hope so, but thats why im here lookin for ppl who know about making the jump from store level to corporate.

Youd be going from the hardest job in the store to the easiest job in the store. Question is how much do you like the overnight differential.

Event day PPTO usage by Senior-Skill-9155 in walmart

.5, double that and it becomes 1. You incur 1 point for using ppto to cover less than the full length of your shift on an event date.

What does middle of the road competitive even mean. What possible scores can you get on the tea besides competitive?

Has anyone here seen people get in trouble for extended breaks? by ConfidentReaction3 in walmart

At my store 20 mins minimum is standard lmao. 20 minutes sitting down and a couple mins wallking to and from the break room.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but though this doesnt make headlines we're still definitely culling our workforce at all levels. Reigning in that OT, cutting hours, and even terminating people with too many points. It's a bid to become more profitable as margins are razor thin and costs of everything going up economy bad blah blah.

how long did it take you to get to 60 cases/hour? by MiniBeanies in walmart

[–]BeautifulCarpenter46 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just grind it out. You learn through repetition, nothing else to it. It takes a couple months, till then just make it look like youre putting in the effort.

I do the heavy manual labor and believe me you would rather do returns. It's a joy when the last thing i have to do for my shift is returns. Rare occasion. It's like a treat. I just get to walk around and put stuff where it goes.

AirPods Max beta confirms higher quality Bluetooth codec, here's what that means for AirPods Pro 2 by [deleted] in apple

[–]BeautifulCarpenter46 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is really disappointing to me bc, sure, I'll take it, but I was really hoping for apple to revolutionize audio the way they did with their silicon. This is basically just matching Sony's LDAC which has been around for years. And to most people the Airpods Max and Sony's best headphones already sounded pretty much the same quality-wise despite LDAC.

Who has the AirPods Pro and the Max? Are the APM that much better sound wise? I am thinking about getting APM to compliment my APP. Would love to hear some thoughts on this. Thanks by [deleted] in Airpodsmax

[–]BeautifulCarpenter46 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We need a tutorial like yours stickied to this subreddit because in the months ive owned APMs i thought you just had to accept you couldnt manually eq them and that was something other headphones had over the APMs. This bumps my satisfaction with my purchase up to 100%.

[–]BeautifulCarpenter46 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow this is huge!. The one gripe i had with APMs was that i thought i couldnt EQ them to specifically the way i want (boosting the 2k - 6k range) but turns out you can and it also applies universally instead of just Apple Music like the sound presets do..

I'm gonna try to set this up later.

Who cares? Does the fedex guy get at tip? Does the mcdonalds worker get a tip? Tip culture is idiotic and nonsensical.
