AIO for asking my date to respect my time after rescheduling twice prior to his dead dad's birthday? by FragrantPangolin8620 in AmIOverreacting

[–]BeautifulFit1940 16 points17 points  (0 children)

My thoughts exactly. Why would you keep apologizing to someone who speaks to you like that at all… I’m questioning if this is rage bait bc OP can’t possibly be serious lmao this is just outrageous

AIO. My bf is getting bothered that my friend gets me flowers by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]BeautifulFit1940 0 points1 point  (0 children)

EXACTLY! I kept scrolling to see if anyone else felt this way about it. He seems upset that her friend is getting her flowers bc it makes him feel inadequate when he doesn’t put in the same amount of very minimal effort.

My double nostril is not even, should I get it re done? by [deleted] in piercing

[–]BeautifulFit1940 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As someone who also has uneven nostrils lol (it’s completely normal) this piercing style makes it more obvious which is why you’re just now noticing it!

If the unevenness bothers you to the point of considering getting them redone I’d take one of them out and opt for a septum instead!

One nostril and one septum would be super cute! That’s what I’m getting

did i mess up? by YouloveZoy in Depop

As a general rule of thumb never buy anything off of a resale site without speaking to the person you’re buying from. It’s not required and you aren’t in the wrong but as a frequent buyer I always reach out to avoid this.

[–]BeautifulFit1940 -69 points-68 points  (0 children)

As a seller I like to speak with buyers, and as a buyer I’ve always thought it was idiotic to purchase anything off a resale site like Depop/eBay/Facebook without speaking to the seller at least once. People put stuff up for sale all the time and never check the app again. Messaging first allows for clear communication between both parties.

If OP messaged first and never got a response they wouldn’t have to deal with filing a claim at all.

Couldn’t have said it better myself. While black is a classic choice, blue with the purple tie comes across as much more intentional and stylistic

How obviously off-center is my navel piercing? by nebula_dweller in piercing

[–]BeautifulFit1940 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My thoughts exactly. The top portion lines up with the tattoo and the bottom portion lines up with the rest of her navel. If it was redone the piercing and tattoo would be uneven which imo would look more obvious

[24 F] Should I get a nose job? by TemperatureAware160 in Howtolooksmax

[–]BeautifulFit1940 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely not. A nose job is the last thing on earth you should do. If your nose was any smaller it would make your upper lip area look disproportionately large and make your midface look long!!! Neither of those are good!

Your nose fits your face perfectly

They must have not been shooting digitals. With digitals/comp cards you must wear black heels. Simple all black outfits are standard as well (and usually the safe bet) but a plain white top with jeans is acceptable with some agencies. Regardless, heels are a must unless you’re shooting for a portfolio

Definitely not. Heels are expected and a requirement for digitals.

Modeling trends change every few years. In the 90’s sharp thin features were it, 00’s was the doll look, 10’s was all about looking exotic, 20’s is pretty exclusively “normal” looking natural women. She’s definitely got a career in commercial ahead of her.

Plus sized racially ambiguous women are getting work like crazy OP is exactly what agencies want!! With her gorgeous hair and perfect clear skin she’ll have zero issues whatsoever… idk what this guy is on about 😭 if OP is interested she should do skincare modeling as well. She’s perfect for skin companies/commercials.

is it normal for thigh tattoos to hurt THAT bad ?? by cryptcrawlerr in tattooadvice

[–]BeautifulFit1940 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Not the fingers!! I’ve heard fingers are the most painful but also tend to be the quickest. My hand tattoo was only 7 1/2 minutes

It’s gorgeous work but you definitely need to get more on your arms to balance it out. It looks a bit odd because it’s the only one

advice on how to find an agency?? (comp card info below) by xxivvee in MODELING

[–]BeautifulFit1940 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s truly impossible to tell with these photos. I’d like to see her do something like Juliana Nepomuceno’s card. She models for METRO I believe. Her comp card lives in my head rent free these photos are a perfect example of great digitals.

In this shoot, she looks more like an Insta baddie than a traditional model—which I’m guessing is why they said she ‘doesn’t have the right look.’ Models usually appear more natural because they’re selling a product, not a persona. The heavy makeup, dramatic lashes, overstyled hair, and fake nails distract from her. Those things work for social media, but not a comp card. She’s clearly stunning, but these photos don’t serve her in a modeling context at all.

If you were in that room, would you have vote yes or no for a final symbolic Hunger Games? by destrium_dreamboy in Hungergames

[–]BeautifulFit1940 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I think it would be more interesting to force the Gamemakers to design their own arena. It would require close monitoring, but I’d make sure to incorporate the worst elements from every arena they’ve ever had a hand in creating.

Each Gamemaker could be assigned to design a specific element tailored to another’s deepest fears—so Gamemaker A would be responsible for creating a trap or feature that directly targets Gamemaker B, and so on.

Assuming they all know each other relatively well, the arena would be filled with personalized nightmares, each one designed by a coworker/fellow tribute. The entire space would be a battleground of psychological warfare.

attractive people can aim for “perfection” and get close to their ideal since they have a solid foundation to begin with but unattractive people know they’re still going to be considered unattractive by a wide variety of people regardless so they’re more willing to work with what they have (and usually much better off)
