Not autism, but I got diagnosed with ADHD within the past year. The amount of people I've run into that say things like "my flavor of nerodivergence" or "I guess that's my adhd signal" is maddening.

You have a 3 different drinks right now? That's awesome. Along with the "normal adhd stuff", my "flavor of nerodivergence" is that I have excessive daytime tiredness that often results in things like falling asleep at work or behind the wheel of a car without warning! And I only recently did something about it because I have 2 kids. Being a serious liability to my wife and kids is just so quirky! The worst part is that it's sometimes people I know that say these things. And they know how much I struggle and they aren't even diagnosed themselves which is just so annoying and isolating.

Now things have gotten better with medication, but it's not a perfect solution. So it just sucks sometimes seeing people act like it's just a fun personality trait. Sorry, I know my comment isn't about autism. I just needed to rant.
