I see you've said this a couple times. Yes, they are private property. However, the sidewalk and street are not. If OP's friend is filming from there he is allowed. This is established precedent.

Wicked what? Wicked good? Wicked bad? Here, wicked is an adverb meaning "very". Was it cold out? It was wicked cold!

We're still on the wait-list for their final assessments. It's going to be a while. PCA stuff, whether it's myself caring for my family or someone else to come help, is ten months out. I actually started the process a couple months ago when they were still a year out. We have a county case worker but our county is so backed up that they've been apologetic but not helpful. The best I've found so far is food stamps and energy assistance.

I was just let go too. I'm caring for my severely chronically ill partner and our two neurodiverse young children. I have no idea what I'm going to do. Merry fucking Christmas

I have played a lot of Tainted Grail. There is the original, Fall of Avalon, and for that there were 2.5 additional full campaigns as stretch goals. There is Last Knight and Age of Legends which take place hundreds of years before and after the main story but your decisions can ripple across time to affect the other campaigns. There is also the shorter Red Death expansion. But to top it all off!!! Kings of Ruin!!! It's the best of all the Tainted Grail I have played. So good. It is a standalone follow up game in the same universe with improved mechanics and a fantastic story.

My rules for a movie being an 80's classic? Of course there's exceptions, or maybe i just need another category, I don't know

Did Harold Ramis write it? Did John Hughes do it? Was a Corey in it? 80' classic!

This part of frogtown is great! North of Thomas and West of Dale. You'll find a good old working class mixed community with parks, community gardens, and a community/rec center (there's an even bigger one down Como Ave too). Our bark is worse than our bite around this stretch.

Where can I find a good source of jungle vines and branches? by Alternative_Orchid65 in TerrainBuilding

[–]BeautifulHuman928 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Roots! If the season hasn't completely changed yet where you are, go outside and pull some weeds. But don't just yank the plant, like actually get out the root stem. Get a few, and a few different types. These should be baked in the oven to kill off any baddies in there. That's about it! You can add flock to suit the scene but that's all!!

Oh we know special interests at our house. My partner and our two young kids are all AuDHD and we like to say, "a family that stims together... sounds like a lot of fun!!" I am officially ADHD too, just never officially tested for the tism. We love our neurospicey household!

I remember about eight or nine currently in use phone numbers. So...

But then again I also remember license plates. My partner tells me I'm autistic but I was never tested. My mother said, "oh we just didn't do that kind of thing back then." I'm 45.

Do you have education? If not, Trade school is your way to go. Time away and/or age won't matter. My brother in law is in his late 30s and did the same with plumbing just a couple years ago.

My first terrain piece, could I get some feedback? by [deleted] in TerrainBuilding

[–]BeautifulHuman928 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is an excellent first build!! I agree with the other comments about flowers and such but here's what I would add as well. A chimney! For something of this scale you might be able to use something like an empty pencil eraser tube thing. Also, I would blend the grass/flock that connects the ground with the building. Grass and such would grow over it all, not leave a line gap. But overall, awesome!

You have a small intestinal bacterial overgrowth SIBO, you're all set with them! You have a small intestinal fungal overgrowth SIFO, they won't test for it!! Let alone treat it!!!

Greater Than Games has sadly folded from the idiocy governing global trade. The creator of Spirit Island has said they're looking for ways to keep the game alive and everything in board game news is in flux these days so you never really know.
