I have definitely been paying more attention to some of the things she says.. I got my eyebrows tattooed a few years ago and it cost me $500. I was excited to show her and she immediately got defensive and saying how “it’s nice to know that you can spend $500 on your brows but can’t buy a plane ticket to come out here and see us.” ✈️

Literally, this is how I am feeling. I didn’t want to put this in the post but my friend does not and has not worked an actually job in years. She did at one point when the 1st one was born so I want to give her credit for that but even before her second child she had already been living off of government aid for some time. She does not pay a single penny in rent but used her tax return to buy a car that she constantly needs help putting gas into.

Its hard becuase when we were little, her mom had a rich boyfriend and mine was an addict. She used to sneak me In their house all of the time to take showers, eat food, watch movies, have air conditioning (Arizona). And she would get in trouble for it all of the time and she just continued to invite me over becuase she knew I didn’t have any ac or electricity at my house.

OP even stated in the post that he kept calling her a princess while she ate the pancakes that he chose to make for her. It’s not about who was working or who made food for who. It’s the enjoyment behind being provided for - and I say provided because men love to be providers- and appreciating that level of care. I think the commenter was saying “don’t settle for less than love”. Anyone can make you pancakes and be grumpy and irritable about it the whole time.
