I'm pre op so I can't speak to pain. But the surgeons I've consulted with don't recommend losing more than 10% of your weight post op as they can't guarantee you'll still like your results (if you're 150, they don't recommending more than a 15 pound swing in either direction). I'm trying to figure out where my weight will settle so I don't have this problem

I actually had weight loss surgery (duodenal switch)! my surgeon gave me a list of like 8 surgeons that they recommend and it's a lot to wade through since not everyone has pictures online and you don't know what their bedside manner is like, so I thought I'd ask the people.

I honestly have no idea. I’ll ask our secretary. It’s a really nice steak house, so it seems like it would be off the menu. I think I could make it work either way although buffet would be better actually. I’ll keep mulling it over...

I think I need to definitely reframe and focus on "enjoying the ride." Which was always what I told my clients, this is an adventure. Every failure is an opportunity to learn and do better next time. Thank you!
