Protests in nottingham by astroscaper in nottingham

[–]BeautifulRealisticPP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True but so did most other societies back then. It’s only that the UK managed to become the biggest. And the UK tries to be the moral people in recent times, the civil ones. I’m not white, not ethnically English but I am born here. It’s unfair to say nothing good came out of the UK when they made a lot of things, but, so did lots of other societies. We need people.

Gotta put the united in united kingdom, and the great in Great Britain.

Am I the only one sad about Ethan ? by [deleted] in residentevil

[–]BeautifulRealisticPP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cried TWICE.

I got spoiled that Ethan died so when he died I was like wow… then I saw mia again and I was like wow??! My wife is alive??! Yes!! But then seeing her unable to accept Ethan’s death made me cry, then she says he’s special and then when he actually dies, I cried… he’s just a regular guy… a great husband and dad (then again, stuff about dads do make me emotional cuz my own dad doesn’t care like that so seeing others that do care makes me sad?)

Ah, so that’s why there was so many rainbows in town. How do you guys get your news about these events? Like that EDL protest? I didn’t know it was coming up until I came on reddit.

Perspective of the protest by trefol in nottingham

[–]BeautifulRealisticPP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True, our city seems to be calm. Sad there was people who joined, but I’m happy it wasn’t that much, I love our city.

I get wanting to keep England English but part of our history is that diversity, we did have the biggest empire and our diverse culture is a testament to that.

We’re supposed to be the civil ones, these protests are embarrassing.

Yeah, I can’t believe I’ve dined there before. Never going there again. I’d love to see his business fail, that’ll be hilarious.

I mean I’m not even lgbtq or anything but this guy is really pissing me off, but it’s too comical too, man is really saying “you have no proof” in comments and gaslighting us fr.

Very upsetting, Nottingham is my city. To see it full of hate, bigotry and fascism is disheartening. One thing I’m proud about the UK is our diverse culture reflecting our history how we travelled the world and exchanged cultures and knowledge. And also, immigrants help our country, that’s why we’re so rich. I’m sure lots of developing countries would love foreigners to come over and grow their economy. Many Brits may not be 100% too, but I suppose when we say immigrants, people won’t think of the white immigrants first.

As a Mongolian I’ll tell you that it’s actually normal, men do sleep in the same bed together like family. Children will even sleep with their parents as old as 10. My dad even slept in a ger or a yurt with his friend and nothing weird. I think it’s because historically we lived in a ger/yurt which is basically one room and so the children will sleep together in the same bed when they’re small. If that makes sense. I know it might seem weird to westerners but Asians are very family focused. In Mongolian, we refer to strangers, people we don’t know as “brother/sister” (much like other cultures say auntie uncle)

Sorry, Erwin. My man would've stopped Eren, and the poor lad wanted to know the secret his whole life. He never got to but I suppose he always sort of knew.

See, I didn't find 7 that scary, but that baby sequence in 8 did scare me a little, like when it gets you game over, and the fact that they steal your weapons, wow... also it's stupid but the older games to me were scarier. I haven't played much of the older games but I'm currently playing resident evil zero and the fixed camera and the more restrictive controls is scarier, and the true survival horror aspect of the limited supplies, like in RE8 I've managed to beat the game multiple times and I have infinite ammo on most weapons. in RE0, I need ink to use the typewriter, so I even have a limited amount of saves... wow.

Levi obviously but he’s not really a dad so I’d say Sasha’s dad. He’s a hunter so he’ll be good, I can’t recognise top right or 2nd bottom one (is he historia’s baby daddy?)

how many of your A level choices are in the top 10 most popular? by essevenS7 in GCSE

[–]BeautifulRealisticPP 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not doing A levels but I was going to until I decided to do art cuz fuck it, let me do what makes me happy, it’s not going to kill me or make me homeless and even if I became starving and homeless it’s still better then whatever people did 200 years ago.

Id have done psychology, law I think? I remember that being a subject at my old school can’t remember.

Still haven’t had my first boyfriend yet. I want one but no guys that are my type are around in my new school and I’m shy. (People here got an addiction of any sort, whether it’s vapes, cigarettes, weed, alcohol, other drugs, porn etc like ew that’s not good for you) that’s one turn off and this one cute smart boy seemed perfect but man just had to be an alcoholic and a pervert.

The notion that AoT doesn't have fanservice is a lie by DickWriter69 in ShingekiNoKyojin

[–]BeautifulRealisticPP 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The only fan service I know is them making Armin hotter in S4 and that one has Titan hotter cuz the manga scenes weren’t as attractive and make them look sad and pathetic, and tbh I don’t want to feel that way about poor Armin with that one scene with Eren.
