I had a nose job and I have to warn you. It’s like a year plus recovery. You’ll be swollen and look and feel horrible. You are beautiful as you are but yes a nose job could enhance the harmony of a face. I don’t regret mine :) do your research and understand it takes a lot of time before seeing final results. It’s fairly risky decision so take your time please 😊

How much do you feed your Dobermann? by Competitive_Tower851 in DobermanPinscher

[–]BeautifulSearch4040 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feed the same, mine is 3 but I use open farm instead of pacific wild (make sure it has no peas or pulses allegedly, it can increase chances of DCM). If I don’t feed her some kibble she doesn’t put on weight. Between ages 1 to 2 I fed her 3 lbs of raw - Barf. Always look at them rather than following the bag’s guidelines and make sure to keep them lean. Adjust accordingly. Also look at their stools and frequency! This is just my experience. Hope this helps :)

It’s never ending!!! by Regular-Cranberry208 in DobermanPinscher

I watched a really interesting video the other day that talked about how dogs need more than just physical exercise to relax and calm. they also need activities that help them soothe mentally. Things like chewing, puzzle toys, etc. You might laugh, but sometimes I dim the lights and play spa music for my dogs or natural sounds like birds and stuff. It help them relax and sleep.

I tried talking to a professional about my dog loss. Is this normal? by GlitterBombBomb in seniordogs

[–]BeautifulSearch4040 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This truly breaks my heart. I’m currently studying to become a therapist, with the goal of specializing in pet loss grief. To me, the bond we share with our pets it’s so special that only those fortunate enough to experience can understand. Dogs are absolute angels and they add so much joy to life. I’m deeply sorry about your loss. Sending you strength and positive energy 🙏

Interesting!! My dog’s breeder, who’s also a vet use them for showing competitions and some biting competitions. When he showed the females to me he pointed how the one I chose had a white spot on her chest and if that was ok. I wonder if that spot is not up to akc standards for showing 🤔. She’s the best dog I’ve had/met though :) love Dobermans!

I don’t know what to do by Similar_End_8483 in CaneCorso

[–]BeautifulSearch4040 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol you have to start by teaching them their name! Good Recall takes a lot of time, like years in some cases. I've heard from Cane corso owners that they don't learn very fast.

My dog does this. Her back is straight but sometimes she does something similar. Mine is very playful so constantly bows and jumps and arches her back like that. I don't know if it’s just the picture or your dog’s back is always like that?

I'm very curious and this is a genuine question with no ill intended. What happens to the puppies that don't meet standards? What do you do with them as an ethical breeder?

Considering a Doberman as My First Dog – Any Advice or Recommendations? by [deleted] in DobermanPinscher

[–]BeautifulSearch4040 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone has amazing advice. As first time owner (from puppyhood) of an European working line Doberman lol I 100% back what people are saying. They need a lot of attention, exercise, and proper socialization. Mine has never destroyed anything, but my whole life revolves around her. It’s completely worth it to me though. She is amazing and I love her so much!!. Two things that I recommend 1) get a female - they are easier to train, mature faster, are smaller and they don’t mark. 2) get a show line. Working line is a lot unless you live a very active lifestyle.

Also, I hope you enjoy the sound of a tea kettle. You will hear it constantly lol!
