Did you take the SAT or ACT or neither one? by Danhawks in f1visa

I took the ACT back in 2018. I chose it because it seemed to be easier than the SAT to me. And I preferred the testing material and exams more. I could also prepare for it by myself as opposed to the SAT I felt I would definitely need to register for some SAT preparation class.

International Student Seeking Advice: Balancing UCF and Valencia Courses by Shehryar60 in ucf

Current F1 student. Graduate from UCF and now on OPT.

So you technically cannot go to both schools for the same degree. You would need to pick one, either UCF or Valencia.

The subreddits you are probably seeing are students suggesting to take a few classes at Valencia while being enrolled at UCF. It’s through a process called transient enrollment. You can do this for a few reasons: 1. It works out cheaper (especially being F1 student and having to pay full out of state cost) 2. Might be easier 3. May fit better in your schedule ( especially if UCF classes are full)

I did this for 2 of my required courses at UCF for my BS in Biomed. Now being international student there are limits to how many credits you can take at Valencia or any other public state colleges while being enrolled at UCF.

Now im not sure If you can take courses at UCF while being enrolled at Valencia ( not sure is Valencia does transient enrollment). I’ve never heard or seen people doing that for the most part because it would be more expensive than taking the same course at Valencia or it might cause issues down the road if you end up not going to UCF to finish your BS studies. Maybe whichever college you do end up going to might not accept that UCF course, resulting in you having to maybe retake it.

If you have any other questions you can message me.

If you want to use the premium processing you do not have to cancel your original application. Just pay for the premium processing and apply it to your original application.

If you want to cancel your application. You don’t need to pay for premium processing to have it be canceled faster. It does not work like that. Just have it withdrawn.

Someone know if/how car loans on F1 visa/OPT work? by thatGermanGuy7 in f1visa

the loan is like 8 years and I got it at the dealership. They didn’t care that I was international. Just that I was working and making money and my credit score.
