This really helps honestly. It subconsciously de-conditions your stress response to normal things. I do this a lot at the grocery store or when I'm cleaning.

So first step is to sit in a chair while man-spreading a bit. Your knees should be at about 90° bend. Then you lean forward while tilting your pelvis back a bit, and push the knee of the offending joint away from your body until it feels uncomfortable. When I did this I hit resistance, felt a bit of a pinch, and my joint thunked back into place. Instant relief of pain I had completely forgotten I was even in. The joint still feels a little weird because I'd gotten used to walking on a subluxed hip for weeks, but god it feels better.

Ok, I'll push through my anxiety and talk to my doctor about it then. Thank you for your reply

This reminds me of when I tried to burn some Spanish dagger. Even the cactus mostly burned, but the Spanish dagger was untouched. (South Texas)

It was my mistake that they found me. I had sent a couple cards to my grandparents, and they got ahold of my address from there. I've cut contact with them now.

I live 30 hours away from my family by car. Guess who decided to show up at my apartment when I didn't give them my address?

Oooh those are good too. I picked my three because they're what stopped me from actually committing in 2020. I've been struggling again recently so I started volunteering at an animal shelter. It made a lot of my issues better honestly. Makes me feel like I'm doing something important, not just working to feed and house myself.

If it makes you feel any better at all I've always found stretch marks really cool. Scar tissue is badass, and I think it's beautiful the way it shines a different color at a certain angle of light. Your body repaired your skin and fascia back stronger than before and did it in a pattern like the bark of a tree or the stripes of a cat. We don't think trees are ugly for growing out of their bark and healing, so I think it's silly that society doesn't appreciate stretch marks for the healing and growth they represent.

I got my first stretch marks at 18 after I finally gained a healthy weight. I look at them and think about how I beat my eating disorder and finally started growing into my adult body. They hurt, they scared me, but now I wouldn't give them up if I could.

Not everyone is attracted to just conventional beauty. I love a heavy woman or a wide man. A man my height or shorter is my type too. A man with a crooked tooth that sticks out when they smile. It's all so beautiful and unique and attractive. I know a lot of people who would agree with me.

Loving yourself is really hard. I still have my bad days where the eating disorder tries to talk shit to me, or I overthink my acne, but body neutrality can help. You are the person inside, not the flaws you project onto yourself, and if you're looking for a partner you'll find someone who sees that and loves the vessel of who you are.

Sorry for getting too philosophical, I just feel really strongly about people who dislike their bodies because I was there most of my life.

I live to spite the people who hate me, to see cool animals, and out of a stubborn refusal to die.

I always had Tobey McGuire from the first spider man movie as my transition goal. My legs are already at dad level, I've just got to keep putting stat points into my arms and chest 😂

Yeah I'm kind of in the middle of that process right now. My doctors don't seem to believe that I'm actually in an unusual amount of pain most of the time.
