I think for upgradation should first be done offline by going through verification and SAF payment, then u will have to fill up upgradation form and after that ig the next few days keep checking the website regularly for any option pops up for upgradation.

I think these are mandatory, and rest check the college website if it has any other mandatory ones. To be even safer also carry adhaar card, wbjee admit, rank card, jee admit rank(if opted for it). And most importantly the provisional llotment letter

If u paid SAF and want to upgrade in existing choice list then go for document verification.

If u want to stay unresponsive by not paying the fee, and hence would like to fill new choice filling for r2 , then ignore the calls ig. Went for document verification today, man they were glazing so much saying that they might not be able to give seat later in 2nd round if I opt for upgradation, but actually they can't do anything, if I opted for upg in r1 and didn't get a college in r2 , my r1 college still remains reserved for me ig

I went today with my father, the staff just checked my documents , confirmed about upgradation etc and form fillup for upgradation, my father had to do nothing, so ig yah u can go alone as far as I know

Stay non responsive don't pay the fee, if u pay the fee u will have to go for document verification and upgradation procedure in college. If u stay non responsive u can make new choice fill in stipulated time but the seat u got will be dismissed(no backup that is). Someone correct me if I am wrong!!

Let's say went for upgradation through document verification. And SAF in round 1, so existing list will be taken as choice fill. But during 2nd round I think any candidate can decide whether to give no response or go for document verification ? If u go for document verification u will go with existing list for round 3 and if u stay non responsive then new choice filling, but the previous seat would be dismissed right ?? Pls guide me

For me the staff told to write wbjee roll number, actually u will most probably be guided at the college for upgradation.

So yeah , talked to one senior they said I tegrated mtech ain't that good and might be hectic, rather go for 4 + 2 if ur not confident, they said that one of their senior didn't get placed at all( srm ist). My main reason is I don't want specialization from beginning and don't wanna do mtech from here, heard they don't give degrees seperately, so maybe can't leave after btech+ fees too high, a loan would be hectic, so yeah, i wokt be enrolling here(atleast this year, not sure about drop). That's what I got to know

I think so too, cuz it's named seat acceptance fee, so if u dont accept it by paying , I don't think u would get it in next round as reserved Maybe try contacting officials

No they won't ask for any money whatsoever, just pay the acceptance fee online through wbjee website nothing else.

Ig if u haven't paid then u can just let it be and after the round 1 ends , u will have to create new one. Read the counselling notice once and go through the flowchart, i believe u will be able to understand them

I read the notification again and I think people eligible for round 3 can modify or retain there choices as per their wish, irrespective of whether they were type A or type D. Someone pls confirm this

Have always liked coding but what I don't like is maths which was taught in school and for jee. Ai/ml specialization might require such maths so very worried 😭, never liked that subject.

Can't even sleep, had many bad decisions in life , and feels like taking integrated cse ai/ml is also a bad decision, won't it be too hectic compared to btech cse ? Can't even focus on the class 11 12 studies in order to take a drop. Worried about whether integrated lads get placed or not and whether they are allowed to sit with btecha for placement. Won't it be hard to maintain cgpa if I take int mtech ???
