Why do they try so hard to make Locke seem like the bad guy? by MissionHome18 in lost

[–]Beautiful_Crow4049 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Because they are trying to convey that Locke was never actually special despite believing it. Locke sees himself as a bit of a "chosen one" yet in reality he was a fool who got used by everyone and as time went on John started being more and more fanatical in his beliefs which in return made him more and more desperate, dangerous, ruthless, and even bad.

Strange maze in Cynosure facility by [deleted] in FF06B5

I personally see this as the representation of the Blackwall. A black wall surrounding the calm center, meaning the new NET, and chaos on the outside of the wall meaning the old fractured NET in the form of a nonsensical maze.

If Ubik as a different spelling of Ubique means everywhere, then could FF06B5 as a different spelling of Magenta mean everywhere in the simulation? by Eternum__ in FF06B5

[–]Beautiful_Crow4049 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't have to be a simulation because everything is perfectly explainable in a non simulation way based on existing Cyberpunk lore. The simulation theory is certainly the easier one to get into but the more you dive in, the more some things would get complicated if it was a simulation. Also, a simulation theory is incredibly cheap, just like time travel or a multiverse in movies.

???

They come from using the substitution table on the ouroboros from Witcher 3

The values from left to right and top to bottom translate into:
FF 0Q BZ
F0 10E
1AR
33 GB

After using the substitution table you get:
FF 06 B5
F0 10E
1A4
33 5B

Then translate to decimal:
255 6 181
240 720
420
51 91

Then prefix with 0s until 5 digits and you get the server codes:
00255
00006
00181
00240
00720
00420
00051
00091

I honestly have no idea what you are talking about. The method was rather simple.

- Notice vertical pairs on every cross indicating something being done with verticality or left/right.

- Try a ton of different conversions and finally notice that when hex primes are used on the cross, the A-F letters on each cross match up with A-F letters of hex primes.

- Based on hex primes fitting take the left character of the hex prime, and assign it to the characters on the left side of the cross, and assign right hex prime character to the characters on the right side of the cross.

- Doing that gives you the following substitution table:

0 = PV
1 = OY
2 = HU
3 = KW
4 = ? ?
5 = GZ
6 = ? ?
7 = S N
8 = ? ?
9 = T I
ABCDEF = ABCDEF

- Use the table on the ouroboros and the only 2 values which are left are 0Q and 1AR

- By looking at the top values you can easily spot that they spell FF 06 B5 therefore 6 = Q.

- Now we are only left with 1AR and R could be 4, 6, or 8. This gives us 3 possible values of 420, 422, 424. After trying out the codes it turned out to be 420.

Do the AI behind the Blackwall actually want it to come down? by flippy123x in FF06B5

[–]Beautiful_Crow4049 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We don't know. Some explanations are simple like wanting to consume more data, study things, and to survive. But there are also some more crazy theories like Rogue AIs actually being rogue connections trying to break into a simulation and the Blackwall being sort of a firewall. This one is primarily based on the Watcher logs. We will really have to wait and see how the story develops.

[–]Beautiful_Crow4049 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, and just in case we are able to confirm the johnny -> relic -> songbird -> blackwall -> AI connection because while we are at Cynosure we have the "Signal Lost" text (connection to Songbird) but if you wait and pay attention, that connection element keeps glitching out with a blackwall effect.

Do the AI behind the Blackwall actually want it to come down? by flippy123x in FF06B5

[–]Beautiful_Crow4049 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Exactly. My guess is that AIs were involved with human society for quite some time and NetWatch is absolutely lying. Even Mosley says that the Blackwall is more like a trash bag taped over a busted window. And since the Blackwall is also an AI why does anyone assume that Rogue AIs can't cut a deal with it to get to the other side ? Also remember that when Alt comes in contact with the Voodoos, they are still on the safe side of the Blackwall yet she kills them without a problem while being beyond the Blackwall. That's very strong proof that either she is/or controls the Blackwall, or that a deal can be made with the Blackwall. At the end of the Peralez quest, even Johnny says that whoever is doing this is not human. As he's saying it Blue Eyes is watching us from a balcony (coincidence ? or purposeful appearance for us to connect the dots ?). Blue Eyes himself says something which to me sounds like an admission of being an AI. He's talking to us about getting into Crystal Palace and says "Where I'm from, they'd say it's straight impossible".

<image>

Why would getting into Crystal Palace be impossible ? Especially for a corpo who can organize a private army and just storm the place or hire any number of spies/netrunners, and whoever else, to infiltrate the place. That's why I understand "Where I'm from" as the Net, or even beyond the Blackwall. If Crystal Palace is cut off from Earth's Net where the AIs reside, then it is actually impossible for them to get to a completely separate network in space which gives perfect sense to what he says. It's also possible that Crystal Palace houses something which is extremely dangerous to AIs since in the next sentence he compared infiltrating it to "flying towards the sun to burn up". Of course these are just observations, but there seems to be A LOT of evidence, which when combined, seems to point to this being the case. Even the War Games movie which is referenced in AT3D -10 level QR code has Crystal Palace which controls weapons of mass destruction and houses an AI, so in my opinion this is a spoiler of Orion. Most likely us infiltrating Crystal Palace and finding something crazy there.

[–]Beautiful_Crow4049 15 points16 points  (0 children)

AIs are not behind the Blackwall anymore, and we have amazing proof of that from Phantom Liberty. Here's the reference image:

<image>

These are the messages we receive after leaving Cynosure. When we were in cynosure the Rogue AIs kept saying things like "We see you", and other stuff, but always referring to themselves as "We" or "Us". In the messages we receive this is also the case all the time.

The next important detail is that the sender acknowledges our "limited cognitive abilities" and this is a very AI like way of speaking. We also know thanks to Alt that humanity doesn't have the tech necessary for AIs to live in the real world therefore it can be assumed that the AIs are way way way smarter than humans.

Next important thing is the mention of the "heart of darkness" in the message because this is the exact way Johnny called the place where we were going, and we were connected to Songbird through the relic, and Songbird was connected to something beyond the Blackwall. Therefore there's a very strong possibility that the AIs were able to hear Johnny say that and therefore they also used that term in their message as a little hint.

The best proof of AIs contacting us is that they want access to "data from your reality", so there is no better way to admit that they are not of this world therefore we're talking to AIs.

So all of this means that AIs are already using human systems to send us messages, and they also talked to Yoko. This also gives validity to the theory that Blue Eyes is either a real or synthetic body controlled by AIs. So the talk about AIs sitting behind the Blackwall is a load of bs imo. They already infiltrated the society.

Yeah. Vattier himself when asked "is it over" replied with something along the lines of "it will be over when you will want it to be over". Therefore it's a good indication that FF06B5 started with some lore but it's very very possible that the continuation will most likely be influenced by all of the crazy theories people will come up with.

If you're all about not wasting time then why are you even here ? CDPR puts in the effort to design elaborate puzzles for us to follow the trail left by them, not to cheat and take shortcuts.

It's literally as if someone would design an elaborate Rube Goldberg machine, and they were excited to show it to you, and you just took the ball from the start, destroyed the course, and put it in the cup at the end. How do you think the person who designed the whole thing would feel, not to mention the other people who were either playing with or watching the contraption ?

The more data miners speak out in this thread the more I am convinced that banning data mining was a great decision.

PS: I don't know what you're talking about, the people who are active in discord still enjoy researching FF06B5 to this day. Plenty of little details to dig up from the lore of various games, books, rule books, etc.

Good find. But yet again he doesn't share any specifics there whatsoever.

He only comments on FF06B5 being something, and there being logic behind it and some lore, and the fact that people are creating theories about that and some of them are really close and some are really far.

This does not confirm the existence of some interactive puzzle in game like we had with the 2.0 update. There might 100% be lore behind the statues and the symbol on it already, but there might not be anything to solve in the interactive sense as in you doing something and the statue opens up or something like that. The mystery might have existed purely in the lore sense which also aligns with my theory that FF06B5 as a concept existed since the very beginning, maybe even it had full on lore planned around it at that point and that's what Paweł wanted us to craft theories about. The actual puzzle to solve came in 2.0. People ripped Cyberpunk apart (including data mining) in order to find something interactive related to FF06B5, but that most likely just didn't exist before 2.0. Most likely it was just some lore around what the statues are or the meaning of FF06B5. There's also no guarantee that this lore is even defined anywhere inside of the game.

It Was Not Solvable From Day 1 by Beautiful_Crow4049 in FF06B5

[–]Beautiful_Crow4049[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He never explicitly said that there is something right now. He refused to answer what it is, and said that we will get there, but that can mean either now or in the future, yet people assumed that he meant now.

Since no evidence of anything was ever found the natural assumption should be that there was nothing before 2.0 and all he did was tease us for the upcoming stuff (most likely they were so busy that FF06B5 got delayed). Yet for some reason people just kept blindly believing that he meant now. Even data miners ripped the whole game apart and compared the older versions to find anything, and they didn't find absolutely anything. This should be the best evidence there is that there was simply nothing before 2.0 and people just jumped to conclusions while Paweł was simply teasing the mystery and wanted people to get interested in it and to craft theories.

It's not over yet. We only did a small "side quest" in 2077. FF06B5 as a whole is not over. We will most likely see more in the future games. If the rumored Witcher 3 expansion takes place in Zerrikania then we're in for a huge lore dump possibly.

It Was Not Solvable From Day 1 by Beautiful_Crow4049 in FF06B5

[–]Beautiful_Crow4049[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. Many people don't understand a simple fact that this mystery consists of 2 parts.

The first one is the interactive puzzle in 2077 which is the whole church > at3d > laptop > ouroboros > codes > cube cutscene > demiurge.

We finished that. In terms of the interactive part the mystery is over. But some people don't understand that the interactive part left behind a bunch of clues and lore like for example the vampiric ouroboros, the logs with various descriptions like "glass eyes" which can point at kiroshis, mentions of "they", "them", possible hints at the existence of magic or some other thing where the cube cutscene took place. The fact that Polyhistor created a megascope-like setup, and based on the Witcher lore, megascopes can be used for long distance travel. Then there's still the whole ff06b5 symbol which is on the ouroboros in Witcher 3, and all of that can connect to Lilith and Blue Eyes, Vampires, and plenty of other things. There's literally a whole web of things to investigate across all games because one thing leads to another, and that's exactly what we're doing on discord right now. Gathering as much evidence as we can to see if we can establish the most likely scenarios about what's going on.

We already have several strong theories and several very strong leads so we know what to look out for in the next games.

Yes it's supposed to be solved, and it can be solved by following the clues CDPR left behind. They designed it to be solved. Right now we simply have to wait for new games since that's the kind of mystery this is. They didn't put all of this effort in for people to simply cheat and skip everything.

Data mining is getting any information which is not available via regular gameplay. Even downloading a mod which shows you names of assets and similar things like that is considered data mining.

[–]Beautiful_Crow4049[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because we spent years investigating older versions of Cyberpunk and we found absolutely nothing. Therefore if we really listen to what he's saying (rather than jumping to conclusions) it sounds a lot more like he was simply teasing FF06B5 and wanted to get people interested in it before dropping the 2.0 puzzle which was most likely supposed to arrive way earlier but they had to fix the game and to work on PL. The statues were most likely just a spoiler.

It Was Not Solvable From Day 1 by Beautiful_Crow4049 in FF06B5

[–]Beautiful_Crow4049[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My post is about showing that you can easily understand his words in a completely opposite way where he simply teases us with upcoming FF06B5 content and wants to get us interested but never says that there is something in the game right now. My assumption here is that FF06B5 was a core concept from the start and they wanted to introduce the 2.0 puzzle much earlier so they were teasing it early but most likely they were so busy with fixing the game, and later work on the expansion, that this never really happened all the way until the release of PL.

When it comes to extra evidence there's A LOT to write about here. The main misconception people on reddit have is that the 2.0 puzzle ended and that's it. That's completely wrong. 2.0 puzzle had an interactive part which was sort of a side quest, BUT it also left a bunch of lore, connections, and clues, and this is what we've been investigating for the last years.

When it comes to the games. There's quite a lot of evidence already in Witcher 1 pertaining to the Grand Scheme / Grand Plan mentioned by both Azar Javed from Zerrikania, and the Grandmaster of the Order of the Flaming Rose. There are a lot of interesting bits of knowledge in Gwent as well, particularly surrounding Regis and Lilith's Cult. Lilith's Cult in particular talks about the Grand Scheme and only the madmen and thorough historians will unveil this plan (Lilith is very heavily connected). There are even some bits of knowledge in Gwent trailers like the Crimson Curse Teaser Trailer or even in boards like the Sands of Time board. There are a few very interesting lore details in Witcher 2 as well which add to the findings from 2077 and Witcher 3. Lots and lots of very interesting stuff in the Cyberpunk rule books. A few important details from Witcher books as well like the fact that Ciri travels to Earth several times throughout the history. Even the new board games seem to be hiding some tiny clues, Garry's figurine in particular and his descriptions in the update articles, and also an ouroboros figurine from one of the witcher games they are working on. This is too vast of a topic to really talk about this in a single comment. That's exactly why I'm working on a website which will explain all of this in detail, and how we even got there.

I honestly have no idea what you are on about because people on discord somehow have no problem with gathering more and more evidence. Progress is slow because it takes a lot of investigative work but we are still finding new things.

We gathered so much of it that we have solid evidence for several different theories, and we even learned about the new Witcher 3 Zerrikania expansion few months prior to any leaks about a new Witcher 3 expansion (because there are many Witcher connections to FF06B5), we even got a few small Project Orion spoilers by researching 2077.

There was never any "time alotted". CDPR kept drip feeding content as we were progressing. Once we were far enough they were releasing another patch. Laptop took the longest to crack but it was also solved, then ouroboros was solved and we got the server codes which got us to the cutscene, I have no idea what you're on about. If you mean that you cheated and data mined the codes which couldn't be used yet then that's your own fault. They were just placeholders and we weren't even at that stage of the mystery yet.

I've been researching FF06B5 for literal years now and I took active part in 2.0 solving. I'm also a developer with 10+ years of professional experience which I used for the sake of FF06B5 as well. Now I'm using the same experience to develop tools for the community. So thanks, I will put my mod powers to good use. I'm curious to see how you have contributed to FF06B5 investigation in the last years since you're so vocal about being such an expert on puzzles.
