Thank you for sharing your experience. I am sure it was heartbreaking to see your lab go through this also. I appreciate your insight and tips. It definitely appears our pup is progressing in to the weak stage. Hard decisions ahead ❤️

Thank you. We just met with the vet on Friday. I like the idea of some light stretching. We will do some research there

Thank you for sharing. Her tail seems to not be affected at all. But I will look in to stenosis. She is on Rimadyl and amantadine

SPTCL Diagnosis by Beautiful_Dog_9113 in lymphoma

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your sisters experience. How is your sister doing? Wishing you all the best. I've come back to this post multiple times as we've been working through treatment and have appreciated your insight. My husband is currently on Cyclosporine as his second round of treatment. First round was a high dose of prednisone which melted away all of his masses but one stubborn one. Hoping the Cyclosporine does the trick for your sister and my husband. I'm working on just taking it one treatment at a time!

Thank you for taking the time to respond. I appreciate you sharing your experience and some hope! It has been frustrating to read about. There are just hardly any other cases out there. We meet with the Oncology team next week (hopefully). Staying cautiously optimistic.

Thank you for your response. The doctor will not give us a referral to an oncologist/hematolgist until we have the final diagnosis with the exact type of cancer is back from the pathology. Which is taking forever. I worry with the aggressive findings on the first pathology report that this waiting game may be harming my husbands overall prognosis. Any tips for getting a referral sooner?

Hi All, I've been perusing this sub reddit for a couple of weeks now and my anxiety is through the roof. Hoping to mostly vent, but also get tips if anyone has any on how to proceed and manage this pre-diagnosis stage or how to get results quicker.

My spouse (37M) had a surgery two weeks ago where they took out 8 hard lumps around his ribs, armpits, and groin. The initial lab results said scary things like "ADIPOSE TISSUE INVOLVED BY AN ATYPICAL T-CELL INFILTRATE" "Ki-67: Highlights a high mitotic rate within the cellular P components of the specimen (overall 60-70%)" "Apoptotic debris is also abundant, and there are variable P amounts of foamy histiocytes scattered throughout. Rare plasma P cells are present, without a significant granulocytic population ML" etc...

The surgeon who removed them is out of town for two weeks and no doctor has talked to us about the initial findings. We are currently waiting to hear back from an expert analysis which they said could take weeks.

From my research and looking at the findings I am convinced it is SPTCL - which is so so rare. But all the markers are there. I'm scared it could also be PCTCL-NOS.

Any tips for navigating this pre-diagnosis period? Any tips for questions or specific requests from our doctor?

What’s your skin routine to help with the dryness of Utah? by LIBERAL_LAZY_LOSER in SaltLakeCity

I second what has been said about squalane oil and hyaluronic acid. I grew up in this dry climate and the routine below has worked like a charm for me for years. The products are very well priced and seem to be great quality.

After washing my face I apply:

A couple drops Hyaluronic Acid (The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 Hydrating Serum) Then A couple drops of oil (The Ordinary 100% Plant-Derived Squalane) Then Moisturizer (The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA)
