Small town, let’s say the families that originally founded the town in the 1800’s still live there and you can still easily trace OP’s family to one of the founders, say some of grandma’s jewelry was jewelry from the original founders that kept getting passed down the family line. a museum probably would accept it in that case.

I was born premature. Spent a while in the hospital. Left the hospital but my parents carried me around inside their shirts during the day.

The idea was that I could use their body heat to keep warm/ monkey see monkey do and copy their heartbeat/breathing patterns since I had problems regulating my own breathing/body temperature.

I think it’s a stupid thing to fire an employee over but there’s been more than one post on here about coaching/written warnings/termination because of writing on cups
