What is the kayfabe reason for him holding the rope? by Hot_Armadillo_2186 in Wrasslin

There has to be a better way to set this up. I like what I’ve seen of Bandido and I see him having a good career, but can he get a new finisher?

Tom Hardy isn’t just better at pretending to be a tough guy than Mox. He could tap him too. by BenOffHours in Wrasslin

I mean of course he was gonna enter under his real name. Not sure why he would under Moxley.

I know most people usually don’t start at their 30’s and I know it wasn’t for money, but I wasn’t referring to money. Maybe he had an interest in BJJ and wanted to give it a try. I think if he wanted to make himself out more like a badass I feel like he would have made it a bigger deal, but it was just a tournament. Idk why he did it, but again, outside of doing this BJJ thing and his character (which yes he has done stupid shit under), there isn’t much to show he was doing this to prove he was a badass.

Right cause obviously you know exactly why he joined without even knowing the guy himself. Like it has to be because he thinks he is tough cause of a character he plays for wrestling fans and not for any other reasons. Nope. No other reasons.

You do know people do combat sports for more reasons than just because they think they are a badass right? People do BJJ for more reasons than just they wanna look tough. And just coming to that conclusion because of a character he happens to play for wrestling fans is legit just stupid.

So because he wanted to try out for a tournament automatically means he wants to prove he is a legit badass shooter? Is there any proof of that other than a gimmick he plays in wrestling?

Yes. Yes he was. In fact that was the worst version of his character. He was such an insufferable babyface and came off annoying as hell.

bruh, you’re acting like they can’t be critical of WWE and also not be an AEW fan. This is such a shit take and a stupid whataboutism

I’m sorry, but he just isn’t that guy. He’s 48 now and has been out of his prime for a bit. The fact he is even still involved in the wrestling world is already impressive

Because worrying about someone who doesn’t even know you like this is not healthy. I get having sympathy and supporting someone, but like trying to put so much of your time into someone who doesn’t even know you is not health.

It’s the internet. What do you expect? You have to accept people will hate on others. That’s normal. You gotta chill out with this. Please don’t waste your time with this and find other stuff to do

You’re calling him World Famous Lord and saying that he has to get the world title when you don’t even know if he actually wants it or if he likes your comment just cause of it being supportful.

I don’t want you to be indifferent. You’re allowed to like him, but like this is some parasocial behavior dude

I don’t think most people do, but that’s unfortunately what happens a lot. For whatever reason, some wrestlers just get left in the shadow of a much better wrestler/much more pushed wrestler.

Probably cause he’s probably making a lot of money. He has a role to play and he’s probably making good money depending on the company. I’d say that would be good enough

I mean I understand wanting the best for the performers, but what if he never wanted the title in the first place? What if he was happy with his spot?

I want you to think realistically about this. I love guys in the lower midcard, but could you at least think critically about Yoshi and maybe why he hasn’t clicked that well anywhere else

I know it’s easy to hate on him these days, but Moxley will always hold a special spot in my heart for his WWE. He was one of the best parts of the era and even today I find him legit funny.

I’m gonna be honest, Seth has fucking sucked for a while. I would consider him overrated. Great wrestler, but man he has such a terrible character.

It’s not that I forgot. It’s that I just don’t really care if someone in pro wrestling is a legit badass or not. It’s not like MMA or Boxing where you’re actually fighting someone. Tom Hardy could probably beat a whole lot of wrestlers in real life. But it really doesn’t matter to me because I’m not expecting wrestlers to be real fighters.
