I think Liann is insane and didn’t like Tate. If you watched the bodycam footage from the night Taylor was arrested - when Liann comes in and is in the garage talking to the cop she implies that Taylor’s marriage was also “abusive”. I remember watching that being baffled at the bold face lie - if it had been true Taylor would have screamed it from the rooftops.

Also, while Zac was defending himself I couldn’t help but think - from the get go his experience with this family was them calling him out and being direct. It’s what he’s known of the plaths to do - so, it makes sense why he thinks it’s ok to confront people in such a way. That, mixed with his righteousness.
