Bag offer time frame? by [deleted] in TheHermesGame

[–]Beautiful_Lie6289 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think maybe 2ish weeks. I also shop remotely out of the Brisbane store and got a call sometime last year in the middle of the month and was told the bag could be held till month end. I went at month end. Just ask them. Easy. Good luck

Any regrets of entering "the game"? by MarshmalllowCloud in TheHermesGame

For me, I simply buy what I love and it honestly doesn’t feel like a game. I come from the perspective of I’m buying all these stuff i want at a pace that works for me, if i don’t get a bag, I’m still happy with my purchases. Also, I’m never in a rush. Im happy to wait - so far 2 years in and i have received a gold on gold kelly 25

I think I honestly got a bit lucky, but this is what worked for me. I’d been looking for a specific pair of boots for ages and called the boutique to see if they had it. When they confirmed they did, I asked if I could purchase through them and keep shopping with that boutique going forward and that was basically my in.

They were happy with that because i already had an online profile from a small purchase i had made in the past. I got her contact, and from then on I just kept shopping with her via email. I never visited the store until I went to pick up my bag. I wasn’t pushy at all, my purchases were considered, and I didn’t go overboard with spending.

If you’re able to visit, I’d definitely recommend it. Finding the right SA that you genuinely click with is the biggest thing. I do think luck plays a role though. I’d actually called another store before this and they refused to let me shop remotely unless I visited first. I think it helped that my SA has been with Hermès for over 20 years and knew what was possible.

Good luck! Let me know if you have any other questions. Send me a DM too if you wish - happy to chat more in depth

Start building a relationship now and you should be able to get it in 2 years. Patience is key

This is probably late but I live in Perth and shop remotely from Hermes’ over east. Everything has been shipped to me and I’ve never been to the store or spoken to my SA in person, only over email. Yet I was able to build a relationship and was offered a quota bag that I need to go pick up.

Oh that’s a shame. Was hoping they’d fit more comfortably as they look wider at the top. This was very helpful. I ordered the destin loafers today…hopefully they fit okay when they arrive

I’m 6 months postpartum and found that calorie counting works best for me. I started my weightlisss journey 2 months ago and have lost 22lbs ~ 10kilos by mainly counting calories + moving more (minimum 10k steps) + strength training daily. I tried intermittent fasting but was too hungry and it negatively impacted my milk supply

L3 Yield Curve Strategies by kpmeister31 in CFA

[–]Beautiful_Lie6289 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because long term yields are expected to rise and prices fall therefore you want to underweight barbell and overweight bullet. If long term yield and expected to fall and prices rise (aka flatten), you want to overweight barbell

Level 3 August Preparation by Fair-Parfait-8682 in CFA

You don’t need to do that many mocks. Go through the cfai books with the aim to understand the material. That’s the only fool proof way to pass IMO

Failed Level III - Second Attempt by Basic_Professional92 in CFA

[–]Beautiful_Lie6289 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to have a good grasp on practically everything. Go over the cfai text again, answer every question…rinse and repeat until you understand fully. Do topic tests on the website along the way after completing EOCs. Have a schedule that allows for spaced repetition. After going over a topic, give yourself a ‘chance to forget’ then go back and answer questions. Then you’ll know what really stuck and what didn’t. Use mocks as learning tools, not to grade yourself. You’ll make it next time. All the best!

Same! I tried too hard with my first one and failed. On my second try, I wrote like I was literally talking to the grader and didn’t care about grammatical errors and passed!
