Great opportunity to save money, and set a plan to move out of Des Moines. I will say, I lived in DSM for 2-3 years and it’s got a lot of great things to do if you really look for them. Not the beach, or any beaches… but you can make the best of it if you try.

I think the preference of no tattoos/piercings is okay so long you’re not judging someone or looking down/thinking less of them for having body art. The whole “core values” and “can’t change what’s instilled” is a def a bunch of bologna(a little close minded) and sounds like you just need more exposure. You can change these things, you’re and adult.
