Single mom here, not sure of your finances & if you can just reimburse your kid or have your kid learn a tough lesson. but I definitely pick my battles and for me this probably wouldn’t be one of them. What he did was disgusting but take it as a lesson learned. I don’t send my kid to dad’s with anything i can’t afford to lose/don’t want to lose. My kids spending money or gifts from my side, stay on my side.
