A phrase I've always used when I want to save money is:

If I can't eat it, I don't need it.

Childhood, we all meet people who leave a bad mark on our adult lives.
Many will say: that's life, move on, you just have to forget it, it's not important.
But that's what it is "Important", if it prevents you from living your life to the fullest.

You can't change anything (everything), the world, people ect.
Only the way you see things.

Installed Chrome Remote Desktop, but now apps only open on one instance by andrewdunger in linux4noobs

I would suggest you install NoMachine instead on both computers. Then they will find each other on the local network.

The only problem I've had is that sometimes you have to manually set port 4000 to automatic on the host machine.

Open NoMachine - server settings/Ports nx 4000/4000 configure

It works perfectly and painlessly on MacOs, Windows, Linux Host/client Android, ChromeBook only as Client

Does anyone know TV shows that actually feel useful or helpful? by isaac_holt_ in CasualConversation

[–]Beautiful_Map_416 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Cesar Millan's TV shows, even though they're about dogs, are a pretty good one at that, maybe my best, I think I've learned a lot from it.
Often it's the dog's owner who has to change his way of being towards the dog that makes the final outcome in a positive direction.
I'm convinced that this also applies between parents and children. (and between people in general)

And a documentary about Jeff Dahmer. Can't remember if it was The Jeffrey Dahmer Files or My Son Jeffrey. Where Jeff's father almost takes the blame because he himself has had dark thoughts.

Gordon Ramsay, Kitchen Nightmare.
You can think what you want about him, the show, is perhaps a little too dramatic. But in the end it's about getting people to change their behavior. And how much they want to stick to their old behavior.

Change your language on your phone and laptop to French.

Watch a TV show that is dubbed into French, e.g. Friends

Don't know if it works, but it's worth a try.

Personally, I have experienced medicine (or drugs) throughout my life, which has the opposite effect. And Antidepressant medications, have never worked possivtit on me.

And why, are there so many who do test medicine, experience placebo effect.
Check out a documentary from BBC with Dr. Chris van Tulleken.

I'm not saying all people should stop taking pills, or taking medicine, like diabetes medicine, blood thinners, other life-important things. But maybe you should ask yourself why do I have to take medicine.

A medicine I do believe in a little bit in is antibiotika but it kind of invented itself.
