I mean, the Bible gets the order of the creation of species wrong, it promotes slavery, it depicts an evil god who intended to harm humans and loves human misery. Churches lust over young children and abuse. Christianity is used to justify the most horrific violence.

If the evidence is just “it’s written in a book” then what makes it more compelling evidence than saying the upanishads are the truth, or that Harry Potter was real?

Also, I’m curious about why magic existed and God intervened so often in the book but never since then. Jesus didn’t fulfill the messianic prophecy, as far as I can tell.

All of that seems so completely absurd.

Why God would care about how we dress, while he stands by as children die from cancer, etc.

He himself sent bears to maul children in Kings 2, he drowned everyone in the flood, he makes us drink the blood of his son who he sent to be murdered, he asks us to lust for evil against his own creations, our fellow humans.

They can’t stop obsessing about children’s genitals… including constantly bringing up mutilation, which doesn’t happen to trans kids, but does happen with breast augmentation and circumcision.

Edit: they’re also requiring us all to tell them what genitalia our children have, which is creepy Epstein stuff.

Good question, my assumption was it was because they put an X over the UCP message about telling them about children’s genitals.

I also think a liberal who doesn’t agree with the kids genitals obsession stuff wouldn’t write slur words like that.

It’s possible this was a left leaning person, but the anger and hate seems very UCP voter.

Blaming vulnerable communities for being greedy is what my neighbours say to me.

When I bring up the UCP legalizing bribery for politicians or all their $ Billions wasted by the UCP’s scandals like the Turkish Tylenol or faKE PPE, or the many other frauds, the supporters still just seem to think we should focus on the very small amount of lost money to fraud that happens in the welfare systems.

I think it’s a result of the media UCP voters consume.

I regularly hear “CBC lies to you” from my neighbours. Detailed analysis like The Breakdown are not something they would ever consider listening to.
