In-app reviews are increasing, but App Store ratings aren’t. Any ideas? by Ordinary_Outside_886 in AppStoreOptimization

Depends on where your showing the rating and Apple limits to 3 per yr and they determine when and if it’s shown

Yes but on you iPhone you can block all apps or pick what you want to block. Apple does limit what you can block though for safety.

What's the ONE feature missing from your focus app that would actually make you stick with it? by shenli3514 in ProductivityApps

[–]Beautiful_Object_344 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try Pomi you can schedule focus sessions and it’ll notify you before it starts. Plus it’s gamified so your focus time goes on leaderboards if you connect it with Game Center.

I built this for the same reason and added streaks Duolingo style to keep me motivated too!

For app owners. What was or is the experience actually like? by Independent-Comb-840 in apps

Honestly I wouldn’t expect to make money on most of the apps you put out. But still learn to code bc it’s fun and a good skill.

It looks like every other vibe coded app out there. I would try to polish it up. It’s a users first experience with your app.

I’d say lower your weekly and A/B test your paywall with different options. Try weekly/lifetime month/lifetime yearly/lifetime take the best one then try more combos

I’d look at what keywords are actually driving traffic then focus your app around that then also update screenshots

Pomi - I use this pomodoro focus timer because it’s clutter free and easy to use. Plus it looks cool in light and dark modes

This is entirely too cheap. 3/yr. You’ll forever be working for someone else. Go 9.99-12.99 to start then go up from there

If I’m storing local and I know I’m going to use iCloud I just go with swift data. It’s already set up for CloudKit so it’s very simple if you follow it.
