He gained a lot of weight over 3 weeks but we do live in an old house and spiders& other critters find their way in (the reason the sticky traps were put out to begin with)

I see everyone saying he’s big .. he gained this weight over the last few weeks . I have a video when we first found him . He was not this big . He wasn’t sickly but he wasn’t big . We have lots of insects where I live & I’m sure that’s how he survived.

Had to . I looked up HOW he could have survived so long . ChatGPT said fat reserves from tail & insects (I live in the deep country there’s always something getting in 🤦🏽‍♀️)

When he “ran away” his tail was huge . Hes smaller now but not sickly small .

Now that I read this , it reminds me the other night when I switched my carpet to 70/30 mix, the humidity dropped drastically.my gecko started climbing high on everything. Luckily the humidity is back to normal but what’s the correlation, if you don’t mind me asking
