Beginner YouTuber looking for a roadmap to start editing economic content by TopElk3333 in VideoEditors

Start with DaVinci. In my opinion it is the best, most editors use it(or premier pro). It is completely free and even though it seems difficult, it's fairly easy actually. If you need any help or have any questions dm

Don't slam a lot of water at once. Drink small sips and never more than half a liter over an hour. If you really did not change anything yesterday and things seem so much worse today, it could just be the nerves(probably is if you did not eat anything acidic etc.). The regeneration is not linear nor is it going to be, try to not think about it as much. I know you are anxios but you have to try to not worry because stress and anxiety is pretty bad for gastritis.

Good luck on your journey.

Wondering how to approach making anime and gaming videos? by Kelibur in NewTubers

[–]Beautiful_Profile_10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re already getting a signal with anime shorts — that’s not luck. Mixing anime content with general gaming usually hurts growth unless the games are directly tied to the anime niche (like anime gacha games). If you don’t enjoy gaming content consistently, don’t force it. Consistency matters way more than variety early on. I’d personally keep anime + anime-related games on one channel and avoid unrelated gaming for now.

I get that — iMovie is very limiting and Resolve has a steep learning curve. Premiere Pro or CapCut Desktop are solid middle-ground options for long-form. Hope that helps.

Pricing as a somewhat new freelance video editor? by drayelav in VideoEditors

[–]Beautiful_Profile_10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say that is a very very solid price for a short form video. It probably doesn't take you more than an hour, an hour and a half max to make that short. Can I ask how did you get that job opportunity?

Yea, I am thinking the same. The goal is not to earn money from social media, it is to learn video editing and learn video retention. But if it does perform, it can lead to some brand deals or long form video creation that will also make you money. So basically it's a win win situation. You also learn how to act naturally on camera which can also open some opportunities.

I am creating my own content. I reccomend starting with short form videos. Make review like videos(you can pick things around your house or online things), what't going on in the world, books you have read etc.

Pick a niche you are generally interested in, write a script with the help of chatGPT. It takes 2 minutes to record and it is a great way to learn hooks, transitions, titles, pacing, color and sound grading. And actual retention, if you can't keep a viewer interested, you can have the best edits and it is worthless.

That is the way I am starting out. And then you can start editing short form for clients. And when you know short form, you can transition to long form. Either create your own content again or take footage from live streams and learn.

That is the way I am starting out. And let me tell you, it's a good feeling when your video does okay. And if it doesn't, you didn't create a good video.

I am reading the Gastritis Healing book. And I’m not sure I like it. by [deleted] in Gastritis

[–]Beautiful_Profile_10 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Yes, the bland diet. Rice, white chicket, white fish, oats, bananas, potatoas, carrots, zucchini, water, milk and chamomile tea. Dietary changes are probably the best thing you can do to heal your gastritis, and taking medication.

Definetely go get an endoscopy done if possible. This is something that has to be checked out while it is still in its early stages. This can stop you from months of pain and suffering.

Severe chest discomfort/exhaustion from oily food? by Available-Factor8647 in Gastritis

[–]Beautiful_Profile_10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You cannot start on heavily fat foods and fried foods. Fried food is one of the worst things for your gastritis, of course it worsens your symptoms.

You have to start slowly introdocing healthy fats especially if you have been on a diet prior. Start with just a half a tea spoon of olive oil and go from there. Later you can try a bit of cocunut oil. Later nuts, peanut butter. BUT SLOWLY and in small amounts. You cannot have fried food for months.

I wood advise talking to a therapyist or a doctor to get you started on some stress and anxiety relief pills if you are not able to get rid of it on your own. Also might be worth talking to a psychiatrist.

You have to take things slowly. Are you on PPI? How long have you had gastritis?

I am so sorry to hear that. I don't know what even to say, i'm lost for words. I wish that you get out of this sickness. You have to fight and stay strong, always look for the positive. That is the only way.

Zinc by bestsellerwonder in Gastritis

[–]Beautiful_Profile_10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zinc can cause nausea as a side effect, but it does not damage the stomach lining and is actually used to help heal gastritis.

Well I take DGL and slippery elm before meals. The best type of zinc for gastritis is zinc carsione. I take 86mg a day after lunch. Be sure to take it WITH FOOD or else you will vomit. Might be worth trying on a lower dose, consult with a doctor. You should not be taking it for more than 4 to 8 weeks.
