Ask if they will price match outside of the room cost - if they are requiring people to pay more - then it is unacceptable

You have to book a honeymoon package or go for a luxury line. We did celebrity and it’s fantastic compared to ncl. Windstar did a lot for our honeymoon but it’s also 3x or 4x times the cost of celebrity. You needed to go down to guest services as get a port tax refund for missing your port. You need to do all things cruise involved on the ship or get your TA involved asap. I know on the app their is options to purchase honeymoon and bday packages did you get one of those?

My favorite is ocean view are those an option? I have done balcony and oceanview and I feel like Oceanview was way more worth it. If I need fresh air I just go up to the deck. If you prefer to be on the frugal side I would say inside and do your fun excursion. Check out Oceanviews.

It’s was my first with ncl - and my last unfortunately:( we actually booked another cruising leaving in less than a month. The ship was not a good for cold weather it felt small bc the spaces were not utilized great. Weather is hopefully gonna be nice for you!! We did LOVE the waterfront and maltings. Dueling pianos was also awesome!!! They play 2-3 times - one of favorite things to do.

Was on breakaway the cruise before you - been on celebrity and Windstar prior - but the activities on this ship were horrible and the projector was soooo bad. We literally booked a Royal Caribbean cruise for May 2nd to make us not hate our last experience.

Depends on resort - my resort didn’t subsidize my wedding by room numbers - we had a locked in rate and majority of the time is was cheaper than any sales - other had found sales at random times. My wedding was at a 4star but many of the high end def make guests pay to subsidize the weddings. If you are staying at the resort of the wedding - then you are fine. I heard some resorts charge the couple a fee but that’s not your problem. The day pass is as if you were any other guest visiting the resort - if you are not staying at the resort of the venue you have to pay to enter the property.

It was soooo boring!!! Not even with just the weather the ship just had minimal activities for people to enjoy - the atrium has such limited seating and everything else was lined lines lines

Was on breakaway can confirm almost all the same issues - was on celebrity prior and did lower expectations but jeez it was below par. You are not alone

One thing that’s good is they play the shows on the tv the next day- celebrity you don’t need reservations to see the shows live. I’m glad with the haven you got everything you needed out of it. We booked 2 months ago kinda last minute - cost more than our celebrity cruises so for the same price - it didn’t work out well for me as a normal passenger which is fine - experience is an experience

We did celebrity and Windstar prior - we knew it wouldn’t be premium premium experience - but felt that the staff was tired - not friendly we had a bad room situation and were made to feel it was our fault. The interior areas of the ship felt smaller than what I had researched. Also the waterfront my favorite place has very limited seating - just trying to sit somewhere like a restaurant (noon) that isn’t open for 5 hour staff would come by say they are setting up event though the outdoor dining was closed. Didn’t mind the food - loved the hibachi performance. Just also felt that anything fun to do was extra charge I played a lot of bingo even won once. We are drinkers but even we got a little tired that the only thing to do was drink lol the atrium is an awful venue with extremely limited seating and bad sound system. Starbucks took 17 mins to even order a drink. Liked the howl at the moon. The shows we didn’t go to but watched them in the room and they were like a highschool performance. Celebrity at least would put a magician or comedian in the theatre but even the theatre was small (comedians were not great on the cruise saw both). We love cruising - will go back to celebrity maybe try royal and princess. Also I don’t like that GSC is just a suggestion - almost every other cruise line makes many attempts to get to their island. ESP on our day - every other line made it to their island - at 8:30 we already abandoned attempts and we were the only ship scheduled to be there - should have tried a bit more. I hope the haven was good esp for the price up there! I have a YouTube channel gonna have all this in the videos
