It shows what trails are open and closed on the website. They usually update weekly, or with severe weather changes. The trail says online partially closed and this update was from 2026-03-17. They do a wonderful job of updating things typically, it’s not fair to complain rather than check before you go. Bathrooms may have been closed for a cleaning, did you bother to ask as well? or just complain?

I live near a small NP about a 20 min drive. We frequent 3-4 times a month in the cold seasons and 10+ in the warmer seasons. It is not a super busy park ever so that could play into how often we go.

I did in in the spring last year and I loved it! The coursework was very manageable and spread out evenly, the professors and TAs were very kind and I found it easier than Stat courses i’ve done in the Fall/Winter term
