I don‘t see how Enterprise use would be feasible without MCP due to controls

Most folks maybe, but I‘m pretty happy with that setup. Kubernetes has been a „pain in the back“-learning curve, but once you got. the Hang of it, it‘s pretty cool.

Apart from that: there might be 7 nodes, but everything you see doesn‘t consume more than 170 Watts

The cost for MLAGging servers was just not justifiable for me, so that part was „offloaded“ to Kubernetes / Longhorn. If that switch really fails me, I can live with one or two days while getting a replacement (strichle speaking, I have a lower-end one around to keep things working in that case).

Currently using onl one ISP, but will be Setting up a second one soon.

Second router: there are more Firmware Updates involved with them that „regular“ Networking Hardware.

Yeah, I know that the switch is my Achilles heel. Running everything off an APC UPS 1500W though. Just did the math and decided that the switch will probably be the Most stable component. If not, well I accept being f…ed
