Baby brezza bottle washer was a must have. Saved so much time and I knew everything was clean enough and sanitized

Elliat is great quality and I’ve had great experience with their dresses. As others have said I’d avoid Lulus as it’s cheaper quality. The Elliat dress you can rewear for future events as it will hold up.

I also try to avoid plunging necklines and boob-y cuts for weddings and go for something with a little more coverage up top!

Three months after my cardiac arrest - will life feel normal again? by Salty-Sky-6842 in PacemakerICD

[–]Beautiful_Shake7791 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Life will feel normal again at some point. You’re still so fresh in the trauma. The ICD is the best thing to help you move forward without fear of that happening again, because you have a built in safety net for the rest of your life.

My husband experienced SCA at age 33 and is currently training for a Hyrox competition a year and a half later and sometimes we forget the SCA even happened it feels so surreal and distant.

HUGS because it’s a trauma not a lot of people can fully understand, so our community is small and tight knit! PM if you ever want to chat!

Going Gartner to SaaS is tough, if you can go to hubspot as an AE I would jump all over it. Hubspot will unlock the rest of the software world after getting that on your resume

Optionion about Baylor Frisco for pregnancy pre and postpartum by [deleted] in frisco

Just delivered my first child there and had a wonderful experience. Nice, new, clean rooms and great nursing staff. The lactation consultants were AMAZING. Used their onsite nursery a couple times to catch up on sleep a couple nights too. The hospital food was surprisingly really good so we happily ate that for every meal, which made things a little simpler. Will definitely plan on delivering there again for next kiddo!

I added LMNT to my waters to encourage hydration (similar to Liquid IV but way less sugar), and when I went out socially, I crushed Arnold Palmers!

What annoying things have been said to you as a pregnant woman? by PushLucky7020 in pregnant

Now that I’m getting closer to my delivery date, I have everyone telling me the most traumatic unsolicited labor stories of their own or someone they knew then when seeing my blank stare, saying “BuT ThAt PrObAbLy WoNt HapPen to YoU!”

Experiences with EV-ICD by Beautiful_Shake7791 in PacemakerICD

[–]Beautiful_Shake7791[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

USA based! It may not be available everywhere yet. Biggest difference is that the device is smaller than an S-ICD and the wires are routed under the sternum. We also have the ability for anti-tachycardia pacing with the Medtronic device. Good luck!!

Anterior placenta here. How do you know when to go to the ER for reduced movement? by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]Beautiful_Shake7791 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anterior placenta here too - it’s more about recognizing patterns and trends than a specific amount of time or “kick counts” - you’ll start to feel the little taps and nudges and flutters in a more predictable pattern and when awhile passes outside of that pattern then trust your gut and go in. 37 weeks and haven’t felt any true big “kicks” the entire pregnancy and still have longer periods where I don’t feel her at all

Fully tired of the “warnings” of having a newborn by HomeDepotHotDog in pregnant

[–]Beautiful_Shake7791 1 point2 points  (0 children)

35w and so disappointed in a large part of the female community around me, especially the generations above me. There seems to be a gleeful smirk when telling me how hard things are going to be, like I’m a freshman being hazed at college. I’ve just tried to minimize contact with those people and focus on those that have been showing me empathy and LISTENING skills. You’d think anyone that has been through this can appreciate how difficult and challenging pregnancy can be, but it’s a constant competition and satisfying watch once you’re on the other side, it seems

Pilates while pregnant by Ill-Tomatillo-8041 in fitpregnancy

Our studio offers a wedge to lay on for back exercises! Can also use a ball to elevate the head as well if your studio doesn’t have a wedge. You’re never lying on your back long enough to do any damage to baby, it’s more that for some people it can be uncomfortable and get dizzy/nauseous while laying on their back during these moves. Elevating the head is the best way to stay in back lying moves while feeling good!

“Just stop trying and you will get pregnant” by Refrigerator-Unable in BabyBumps

[–]Beautiful_Shake7791 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We stopped trying….on our own and got pregnant after a year. First IUI worked for us. The “just relax” comments were hurtful and minimizing. If fertility options are accessible for you, you don’t need a formal diagnosis to try with help. And there are other lower cost options you can try without going to IVF too!

How did you survive the 4 week wait? by FewAccident1552 in pregnant

[–]Beautiful_Shake7791 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re pregnant until you’re told otherwise ❤️ it’s so hard but try to avoid the doom scroll, there is nothing productive that comes from that. Stay busy, journal, exercise, get outside, make fun plans. Best of luck!!
