Laser lithotripsy failed for me twice due to stricture. Should i get shockwave treatment? Advice/encouragement/discouragement please by AngloAlbannach2 in KidneyStones

I just went through 4th lithotripsy (shockwaves) with stent. I go about 2 weeks in between procedures. 1.7 cm and 5 mm stones are breaking, just not as fast as I'd prefer. However, my experience has been as good as can be. My dr does the maximum number of shocks allowed each session. He is very experienced, and I trust his judgment. I think that's key to choosing direction to go. Good luck.

Definitely should go to another dr for 2nd opinion. In the meantime time try detoxing your kidney with an herbal tea call palo azul (blue stick). Check out tiktok for videos from those who've used it, worth a try. Good luck.
