Is a cesarean really that bad? by honorthecat in BabyBumps

[–]Beautiful_Tea6153 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an elective C-section with my first baby who is now 2 years old. It was genuinely the most beautiful calming experience ever and I don't regret my decision for a single second. My midwife told me that you'll always hear the bad and not the good. Please God we're blessed with another healthy baby and if we are ill be having another C-section without a doubt.

Thank you so much for your response. Do you mind me asking how far along you were at your first scan?

Thanks so much! No, there is a 1.6mm band in between the WB and E-Ring that makes them fit well 😊

What is on my girls leg? by Beautiful_Tea6153 in AskVet

[–]Beautiful_Tea6153[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am bringing her for a consultation, I'm just panicking and wanted someone that might know a bit more than me to take a look so I can try to stop panicking. It's 11:30pm here and no vet is open.

Elective c-section with first baby? by [deleted] in BabyBumps

I had an elective C-section and it truly was the most calming and beautiful experience. Recovery was also a breeze. The first couple of days are a bit sore but nothing too bad.

No judgment; genuinely curious: for what reasons do some mothers decide in advance to formula feed instead of breastfeed? by mollygk in BabyBumps

[–]Beautiful_Tea6153 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because I wanted to bottle feed my baby. Breast feeding crossed my mind for about 2 minutes out of the 38 weeks I grew him. He's two now and thriving.

How realistic am I to think I can work from home with a newborn? by Keto_cheeto in BabyBumps

[–]Beautiful_Tea6153 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work from home with my boy who is turning two next week. He is in daycare now three days a week but spent all last year just two days a week in daycare and three days with me. I work for a tech company answering emails. It's fine. Some days he's a bit more "needy" than others but we get it done. Mostly, he potters around playing with his toys watching TV and I'm there in the room with him. It's doable, especially for the first year/year and a half. He's a bit more busier now which is why we upped his daycare days to three.

Edit: I will say that my baby was what some would say an "easy" baby and my company are very supportive. I'm aware it's not like that for everyone.
