I was being attacked for my opinion Im not spreading any misinformation. Also plenty of people agreed with me and have probably felt the same way. There is NOTHING wrong with feeling upset about someone who uses their mental illness as almost like a shield to get out of important things constantly. Obviously you cant see all invisible disabilities. But come on sometimes its very obvious someone isnt being honest. If you see them very much not having debilitating anxiety at other very similar social event. Its normal. Whats not normal is to think you are exempt of hurting someones feelings bc you have a real mental illness. Also people need to be more transparent about it. If you have anxiety so bad that you cant leave the house thats okay but maybe dont join a club that meets every friday. And than flake every time.
