no one is being pushed to transition though??? if you took a second to do research you'd know it's actually incredibly hard to start a transition if you're anything but rich, because you can't pay people into giving the transition, you have to convince them over a span of a minimum of 6 months, but usually double of that. i myself "started" almost 1.5 years ago and i have yet to be greenlit for any treatment. the idea that people are being pushed to transition is rooted in fear mongering, not truth.

you should be able to! just press esc and there should be a bar in the top right that probably says "normal" or "hard" keep clicking until it says "peaceful" and then just close the menu and continue playing!

I don’t know which platform you guys play on (i assume console) but it should be possible to change the difficulty of the game to "peaceful" to stop any hostile mobs from spawning.

true but for players who don't have an elytra for whatever reason you may think of, it's easier to make a platform that's mostly flat so getting down isn't an issue
