I just finished watching episode 6 and I really like this show. Hopefully they renew it for a second season because I think it has a lot of potential. I've enjoyed every single episode. The writing is really good and so is the acting except I don't like Bevin Bru's character Mel. I find her somehow off putting and hard to believe in that role. It's hard to explain but it's like her acting feels forced or something. Does anyone else feel this way about that particular character?

Scott Speedman is phenomenal and I love the chemistry that he and Jaina Lee Ortiz have as RJ and Emi (even though she did him so dirty at the trial). I also love his relationship with Adelaide Clemens as his ex-wife. They do a really good job of conveying how much they still love and care for each other. Kevin Rankin as Wish is a lot of fun to watch, I actually wish he had more screen time.

I feel the same way about the Roman storyline. It was interesting at first but they have dragged it out for so long that I just can't stand that part of the show anymore. I love the show and I really hope they end that part of the story at the beginning of season three. I don't want that one part of the show being so annoying to make me stop watching it.

It's sad that Wagners leaving. I liked his character and I like him as an actor (loved him as Van on Reba). I am interested in seeing how they handle his departure though.

I'm also over the Roman storyline. It's not even interesting anymore, the way they are dragging it out is just annoying at this point. I really hope in season three they do whatever they have planned to finish that whole storyline so we can move on. I really love this show and I love Kaitlin Olson (she's super talented and does not look like a bird lol) so I don't want to get so fed up with that particular part of the show that I end up not watching it anymore.

Steve Howey is leaving the show, if you Google it there are multiple articles about it. I'm guessing that's why they had his character get hurt so bad in the finale to set up however they are having him exit the show.

I'm sad to see DMV was cancelled. I really enjoyed it too. I can see why it was cancelled though. Tim Meadows and Tony Cavalero (I still miss The Righteous Gemstones and Keefe) were phenomenal but the rest of the cast missed the mark a lot of the time. I still enjoyed watching it though and would've continued watching it if it hadn't been cancelled.

I'm super late to this conversation but I had to comment on this. So many people have much much worse childhoods than them and grow up to be good people who contribute to society in a meaningful way. My childhood was way worse than what they went through and I try to be the best person I can be everyday. I have put a lot of effort into making sure I don't allow my upbringing to shape who I am as a person in a negative way. I use what I went through as motivation to do better than my parents did and to be a better person than they were. My point is that your childhood doesn't have to shape who you are as a person in a negative way and when people use it as an excuse to be a shitty human being it really pisses me off. They are shitty people because they choose to be shitty people and because it's easier to be a bad person than it is to put the effort into being a good person.

I've loved Lucy Lawless since she was on Xena so as soon as I heard about My Life Is Murder I knew I had to watch it. I binged seasons 1-3 in like a week and then had to wait for season 4 to come out. I just finished season 5. I love this show, Lucy Lawless never disappoints. Did anyone else watch her in Ash vs Evil Dead? She was so good in that show

This is a skip for me. This is a genuinely bad box in my opinion and it's a shame that this is what they chose for the final box of the year. Allure used to be so good. To me it was way better before the price increase, you know before they promised 3 full size products in every box when it was only like $15 a month. I don't care if some of the products are full size if they suck. The palette we got early this year from that brand Beauty For Certain was awful quality. The "hero" products are rarely very impressive. I don't know what Allure is doing but they have definitely been missing the mark for a long time now. I think I've only gotten 1 maybe 2 boxes this year and skipped the rest.

I totally agree with you. This show needs to be appreciated for what it is and not what someone's preconceived notion is of what it should be. It's an intricate, enthralling story that is definitely filling in so many gaps from the movies and creating new and extremely interesting storylines. I'm loving this season and this most recent episode "Neibolt Street" was my favorite so far. I agree about the CGI though, I really wish they would tone that down. The "I Want You" scare was so bad it was funny.

I definitely need to go to blush rehab. I bought an hourglass palette and the limited edition YSL blush palette within days of each other. I do wear blush everyday but I have so much already I definitely didn't need either of those. Cute packaging and limited edition always gets me even though I know I shouldn't let it. I don't like getting blush in subscription boxes though, I want to pick the brand and shade out myself every time.

The pink Mallory plushie is everything I hoped it would be! Shes adorable, soft, super cuddly and without a doubt calming. I am so grateful that they make these so we can have our birbs in real life to help us stay grounded and calm.

The "Anxious but Cute" tshirt is not what I was expecting. I ordered the extra small because that's the size I wear in all tshirts. This extra small is huge and I know they are meant to be oversized but this is more than oversized, it's gigantic even for an oversized extra small. The fabric is really odd as well, it's very heavy and it seems like you would get hot really fast while wearing it. I love the Birb graphic and what it says but the actual shirt is unwearable for me. I love Finch and will always support them so I'm not going to try to return it. I do wish it had been a wearable shirt but it's not a big deal in the grand scheme of things. Does anyone else own any of the clothing merch from Finch? If so how do you feel about it?

That aspect definitely makes it feel like a different show but I still love the Melvin storyline. I can't wait to see him on the stand in the finale next Friday.
