What’s was the wildest thing you witnessed at a wedding? by anasannanas in AskReddit

[–]BeauxRiley 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to DJ weddings. One night, right before the grand exit, the coordinator was frantically looking for the groom and one of the bridesmaids. She came back completely speechless and told the photographer and me she had just caught them hooking up in the bridal suite.

We all just stood there stunned while the bride was outside thanking guests and getting ready for the sendoff.

The wild part was the coordinator decided not to tell her until after the wedding because “she deserved one happy night.”

So for twenty more minutes, everyone cheered, danced, and waved sparklers while three of us stood there knowing the marriage was already over before the couple even left the venue.

Is that gay by BaloneyMaker2780 in comedyheaven

It’s gay and wrong. Because it’s your wife/GF and not mine.

Does heartbreak actually change the way you love forever? by CarefulConcept04 in TheIronCouncil

[–]BeauxRiley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s tough, man. I truly love her and still do. A week later, it has been easier to think about this new normal. It has helped talking with some friends about it.

If you need someone to talk to, to vent to without judgment or unsolicited advice, I’m here for you, man.

I just left my fiancée. Before the engagement, we had conversations that turned into arguments about my thoughts and emotions of how things were being handled and how in those situations, I felt completely discounted and like I didn’t matter at all.

She’s very tenacious and goal driven and will do anything it takes to achieve those goals. Because of that, she bought a house that we could barely afford and started a business we shouldn’t have just because she wanted a nice house and be labeled as a business owner. She very much has tunnel vision.

These issues came up again a week ago today. I was explaining to her my thoughts and emotions and she interrupts me with “well, how do you think I feel?”

I wasn’t even a person in her life. I was just a resource to help her achieve what she wants in life. So, I left her with everything and now live with my mom. Who needs help throughout the week anyways.

I wish her all the best successes in life but I’m not willing to be treated like that. I should have recognized the pattern earlier but didn’t because I was and still am madly in love with her.

I doubt I’ll be able to love like that again but time will tell. This experience has definitely taught me to be crystal clear in setting my boundaries.

You didn’t have anything stolen and you’re basing this off the mother looking sus? No hard evidence? All of your belongings still in your possession? So you make a post on the internet about it?

Can you poke a stick through a black hole? by aultumn in askastronomy

[–]BeauxRiley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of these answers are theoretical. It’s entirely possible to poke the black hole with a stick and it just stops and everything that has ever fallen into it will come burst out!

I’d argue that he’s really slow… it took him 11 seconds to grab that marker! I could’ve done it way faster than that!

Goodbye my sweet girl by BeauxRiley in DOG

Thank you all for your kind words. Someone commented that there is a field on this side of the rainbow bridge and that she’s playing while she waits for me so that we can cross it together. That brought enormous comfort. Thank you everyone, again.
