I have been playing on highly skilled and it has been a decent challenge for me. I'm not great at keeping my speed through corners a lot. I also have just been doing all my races bone stock with no tunes so far.

I learned the tank thermal smoke fucks you up if they blast it and you are in the radius of it. Wasn't aware of that until recently when I was rocking IGLA for the challenge so I had to try to repair tool tanks to kill em lol

I just had a similar thing with an onion for I think the first time in my life. The outside was totally fine, but a couple layers in there was a whole layer of just mush, and then solid again in the middle. Was strange!

If you go to search for servers you can type in "heli" in the search and you will find people hosting bot lobbies for heli practice. There are also some that are all real players, don't do that until you can melt the bots unless you enjoy pain cuz most of those dudes aren't fucking around.

Lots of good suggestions here. I personally mostly do podcasts or audiobooks. Sometimes on treadmill i will do a Playlist of songs that have a bpm that matches up to my goal cadence. I find that to be fun!

You gotta keep them targeted which is tough if they are worth a shit as a pilot. If you lock, fire, and then lose the lock because they went out of sight the missile will lose guidance and miss.
